Malignaggi and Kotelnik would both have beaten Mitchell. Mitchell's an okay outside boxer, but they're better ones.

Paulie has wins over Cherry, Ndou, and Diaz, which blows away Mitchell's entire shitty resume. Theres NOTHING about Mitchell that suggests he could beat Paulie. Malignaggi is quicker then Mitchell, a better boxer, much tougher, and is the bigger man.

the bigger man matters when u can actually punch malignaggi cannot punch. cherry, ndou and diaz are not even top 10 in thier respective weight classes. im not saying mitchell has a great record himself because his promoter is pants. i think you will see mitchell again challenging for a world title.

I've only seen Mitchell fight once and he got KTFO in 3 rounds.

So based on limited viewing, I'd have to say 3 or more.

1 A close loss to Malinaggi, his fight against Kotelnik would be close too but he would beat pretty much everyone else with relative ease in my opinion.

Infact, now that I look at it he COULD beat Malinaggi if he had the right gameplan... Hmm I always did think Malinaggi was a little overrated. Yeah I take it back Mitchell would beat him and Loose to Kotelnik... I think.

Mitchell did just fight one and got utterly battered. On the basis of that you now think he can beat fighters of a similar quality to Katsidis, just one division higher.

Am I? I was genuinely trying to find out to what extent we were overrating Mitchell here. The thought that he can beat a top ten light welterweight was absurd enough, I've no idea what you think he can do.

yes he got ko'd in 3 by a world class fighter that doesnt mean its all over at that level. look at khan ko'd in 1 by an unknown fighter who as proved not to be world class since.but with good managment and a great team behind him he was world champ within 3 fights . so mitchells career at world level is no more unrealistic than khans was after the presscot fight you can learn a lot from a loss

I would favor Paulie and Kotelnik to easily beat Mitchell and Barrera might beat Mitchell. Tough call there.

I cant see Mitchell beating these 2 either,Mitchell would probably get past the other guys on Khan`s record but i think he is always going to struggle at world level.
