Im torn on this one, because the patriotic side of me wants mitchell to win, but i do have a great dea of respect and admiration for katsidas. Lets just say i wouldnt be too disappointed whatever the outcome.

I personally do feel this test is too much for mitchell, but if he was to lose then what next?

We all know his dream fight is with khan, but if he loses i cant see how he could/would go up a weight to fight him. Murray possibly?

Depends how bad the loss is. You would have to think if he can't beat Katsidis on his own turf he won't go much further than domestic level. I guess Murray would still sell.

Loses badly - a fight against Murray for the Euro after a tune-up.
Loses a close fight - rematch with Katsidis.

kats ain't no easy for mitchell by any stretch, so i don't think a loss would really spell the end, it would just mean a re-build.
But it would be hard to come back from.

Toughone though really would definitely change Franks plans if he loses expect Brook/Clev to get fasttracked to world title shots/ppv if he does

He should fight McAlister and Murray then try again on the world stage. I think Mitchell is young enough to come back and good enough to keep having a career around the top of the division.

Two already established fighters there though, and with Mitchell being built with the '0' in mind I think it'll do him at the top level.

I worry for Brook if he gets chucked in too quick.

Without a top 50 name on his record, a record that makes Amir Khan's look like a collection of Hearns, Hagler, Jackson, Benn & McCallum etc - any of the consensus top 10 welters, i.e. not the ******ed WBO rankings would blast him out inside five rounds.

    Mayweather
    Pacquiao
    Mosley
    Collazo
    Clottey
    Berto
    Quintana

    etc etc

Cleverly is probably more equipped at this stage.

[In reference to wrimc above :good]

yea i see ur point but if kevin loses a razor thin brutal war, while the yanks must have him a massive underdog cud still favour his career
