its a totally justifiable question to ask. Theres no point in being naive and "expecting" mitchell to win, katsidis is a proven warrior with tremendous heart and ability, so looking ahead and asking he question is not being negative. I asked the question to see what other options members of this forum thought mitchell would have should he lose. Im not wanting him to lose, just being realistic mate
Mitchell will not lose this fight. He will be on his bike and avoid a tear up like he did with Prescott.
amir wont fight him anytime soon, hes got bigger fish to fry atm, plus mitchell movingup 2 weights in the space of 3/4 fights isnt probably a good idea i think khan takes it easy against mitchell anyway
im assuming your not involed in boxing mate, the reason being not 1% of kevin mitchell's mind will be thinking of defeat otherwise your beat before you enter the ring,i respect your question but feel its a question for after the fight.
Obviously Kevin will not be thinking of defeat but I think its a fair enough question to ask. If he gets beat and its competetive, there's no reason to jump back to domestic level. Katsidas is a very good opponent and losing to him aint no disgrace. He could maybe fight the likes of David Diaz if he gets beat??
It's how he loses. Whatever the case he needs to rebuild by fighting the best. Whatever level you at, even journeyman, just fight the best. That is the beauty of English, British, C'Wealth, Europe, Contender and World Title. Find your level!
