    On the contrary I think that is a good reason Money can take to back out. We are talking about Mayweather here right. He won't care as long as his zero is safe..

    But is the strategy illogical?

    Mayweather would be fighting the Castillo -1 fight but against a way bigger opponent.

    Look at Lennox Lewis style of fighting. Clinch and hitting while the other hand is holding the head!

    Hell yeah it will be on. Floyd is not Pacquiao. He is not scared of fighting guys weighting more than him.

    Ricky hatton lept to the gloves and not contented, lept again to the turnbuckle. BTW, that was not a close quarter fighting.

    Although Hatton's style is to smother his opponents with clinches, hugging, that never happened in the fight. The moment Hatton would clinches, Bayless would immediately intervene.

    A close quarter fighting is in the mold of Hatton-Kostya.

    No, he was loading up a punch but got checked hook in the process. And still that was not a close quarter fighting.

    There is an art to it actually. Otherwise you will be countered silly just trying to clinch. And lot of fighters do not know how to clinch - e.g Maragrito, Cotto.
