Personally I rate Floyd's victory over Shane very highly indeed, hindsight is a wonderful thing but Shane was the man at 147 and considered a very live opponent with speed, smarts, and huge power at welter. Of course post fight he was shot and gassed by round 2 etc, but I don't believe that tells the full story of the boxing clinic put on by mayweather and the way he boxed off the front foot to keep mosley in range for beautiful counters all night, making mosley think twice before pulling the trigger. I don't pick shane over pacquiao if they fight, but I do give him more of a chance than a taylor made margarito. He has the ability to box pacquiao and has more speed than any of his opponents probably since jmm. Although mosley is far past prime I think he still gives pac a good fight and wouldn't rule out a knock out if he gets inside on pacquiao and unloads on the ropes. Big if but speed is a factor when pacquiao is put on the back foot he can be hit, however no one in recent years has had the speed to catch him. Pacquiao the favourite, but not out of the question for me, so I ask you IF mosley knocks pacquiao out... ...what does that do for floyd's legacy? :huh

Yeah it is a bit of an if thread, was just interested in people's thoughts. I don't personally think 147 Mosley is as shot as people are making out, I just think Floyd does that to fighters. As does manny to a degree. Was trying to say I don't think it's out of the question Mosley stops Manny (unlikely but not out of the question) just as it wasn't out of the quesiton he got to Floyd. If that were to happen, it surely puts old shot gassed Mosley in a different light and in turn Floyd's W over him with it. Why is it on this site the simpletons have to dilute everything down to "you love manny, you hate floyd"
mosley wont be able to tocu pac. its bull**** how people still rate mosley. he's finished. mosley should not be considered on of the top fighters anymore. i remember how people were saying he's different fighter under nazim and all other crap to make him look like a buzzing fighter in his prime, while i was thinking mayorga should have put him a way. credit against margarito but cheato was there to be hit. enough about mosley! he's finished!
