    YES

Shane fought the best and didn't duck anyone.

His 5 loses can to 3 fighters - 2 which were undefeated at the time.

He's held titles from Lightweight to Jr. Middleweight.

He might not be ranked as high as others - but he is an ATG in this sport.

    Yes, of course.

    -Dominating in the Lightweight division
-He gave his first true loss to DLH
-For an amount of time he was considered as P4P the best
-Lost only in the higher classes against two bigger, long-armed defensive jab genius and came close to beat a young, legitimate P4P-er in Cotto at the age of 36 in a fight some talking about controversy. (Not him!)

On the other side there's the issue of using steroids, his weaknesses in style (against defensive counter punchers) his controversial win over Oscar in their second fight. But hey, not counting in Mayweather and Cotto he has a very good chance to beat ANYONE from 140 to 147 and has a 50-50 chance against rising new star Paul Williams. And he is closing to 37! Also his aggressive style, unmatched, unique footwork and speed (truly amazing to watch his early fights one after antoher), his way of dominating in his lower divisions, his popularity, his personality (one of the most honest, humble and fair gentleman in the history of our sport) is all class.

Definitely an ATG. The question is:

WHERE DOES HE BELONG IN THE GROUP OF ATGs?

As I said in other post if shane had faught the exact same competition that mayweather has then you would not even know who mayweather is because mosley would have beaten them all more convincively with alot more ko's. Think about it who has mayweather beat in his prime that mosley would not have had an easier time with them if he was in his prime.
