So did Clottey. Everyone saw him playing the part of a human punching bag. Who do you think would have more to lose? Mosley or Clottey? Mosley coming off of one of his career best wins only to be humiliated in a payoff? Or Clottey, a starving and desperate boxer who will make $1 million. The highest of his career? I don't either threw their bouts, but look in the mirror folks, before you make claims.
No...too wide of a decision to be all that...if it was staged than they woulda made the scorecard even closer so there could be a demand for a rematch if the pac fight fell through again..there wasnt.. Also look at oscar go crazy in the second round...he is begging shane to knock floyd out quick.. I dont believe either fighter was paid off
Both guys held punches in order not to be caught in exchanges. Difference is that Shane took some to learn that he should not go for it like that and Clottey never got off because he was always on the receiving side. I bet both this guys were thinking in their next payday, maybe to happen against each other.
Just silly excuses. You don't try to knock a guy clean out(like Mosley attempted) if your looking to throw a fight.
I don't think either fighter threw the fight but Clottey's "fight" was one of the worst performances I've seen lately. Truly pathetic.
Nobody honestly does, just something they say to discredit the fighters. I don't for a second believe that anyone genuinely thinks he did.
Also, being that Mayweather was heavily favored to win by UD, getting Mosley to intentionally lose a UD would be the most ignorant fight-fixing of all time. Why wouldn't he take a dive and lose by KO?
