if mosley vs mayweather is close...does mosley have any chance to get a decison

I agree with this but at the same time this could cause some controversy.

As others have stated already, Mosley would have to make it absolutely decisive because there is far too much money in a Pacquiao/Mayweather fight.

And ruin some possibility of the real super fight? Nah, I doubt it. I doubt it will be all that close though.

 

This fight is gonna be atleast 8 - 4 for FMJ. Even for some weird reason, Mosley we haven't seen before shows up and managed to have a close enough fight against FMJ enough to win a decision. IT WON'T HAPPEN, FMJ WILL NEVER LOOSE A CLOSE FIGHT IN NEVADA. period.

To be honest, I don't see this fight being "close" in nature. I see either Floyd clearly out-boxing Shane, or Mosley clearly inflicting more damage, and slowing Floyd down, winning by KO or a UD. Only way this is close is there are rounds that exist where both fighters are landing heavy leather. That aint Floyd's style. He either slip, slides, ducks, dips, and pot-shots his way to victory, or he gets caught slipping.

My official prediction, and hopes: Shane Mosley RD 9 KO. Shane's going to smother, swarm, and beat on Mayweather all fight. Arms, shoulders, chest, and head is going to be at least swung on, and I'm betting Shane is going to land a few good shots to wear Floyd down. Once Floyd starts languishing on the ropes it's "Cancel- Christmas" time. I have $300 on this outcome; hope I'm right!

No. Mosley isn't the star of a potential super fight that "must" happen. Mayweather is.
