Mosley would've found it a lot easier to hit pac and could have easily hurt him. LEt's face it, Pac doesn't have the chin Floyd does or Mosley has. Toe to toe with a fast fighter like mosley would have gotten his ass tagged and probably hurt.

I'm not sure Shane was shot. However, he's 38 and had been out of the ring for over a year. It could be his age, or it could be his oppponent. We'll see if he fights again.

You're assuming Roach and Pacquaio are pulling the strings, but Arum's the puppet master. It'd take a whale of a fight for ol' Bob to go outside of Top Rank for an opponent because it's much more profitable for him to keep feeding Manny other Top Rank fighters. Mayweather's about the only guy left that really fits that bill of being a realistic megafight that falls outside of Arum's Dr. Doom-like grip, and look how he's treating that potential cash motherload.

Because he didn't look old and shot before maybe?

And nobody thought Pac could compete with the big welters at that time.

Why don't you just admit Shane looked like crap.

Otherwise people have just as much right to say Da La Hoya wasn't shot or weight drained against Pacquiao.

I have to admit Darryl you do make a good point here, Roach/Pac wanted no parts of Mosley even when Mosley got desperate and was willing to move down to 140 to fight Pacquiao and they still refused, but now that Floyd put a "power boxing" lesson on Mosley a lot of Pacquiao fans want to claim he is shot.

This. Their not going to look for Mosley after that performance. Roach said he got old overnight.

Pac was just getting his feet wet at 147, Floyd fought Mitchell in his first fight at 147, its good to get your feet wet a bit before stepping up, he did fight Cotto who has a win over Mosley.
