Pacquiao gets a pass for a lot of things. I acknowledge that the man is a hell of a fighter, but also commend that you and others call BS when necessary.

Because no one, not even team Pac knew how well Pac would perform at welterweight. I mean, the guy had just weighed in at 139 against Hatton. Pac wasn't a welterweight fighter yet then because the only fight at welter he had at that point was that circus sideshow fight against de la Hoya.

You're operating with the benefit of hindsight here, using today's standards of Pac to judge a fight that happened in the past.

It's not as if they asked for a catchweight against Clottey. Because we all know he can hang with the welterweights now even if his best weight is probably still at 140.

Reading over these post it's disgusting to see these Manny Druguiao nuthuggers invent some of the most asinine excuses.

October 2010 Las Vegas, Nevada, Money May KOs Manny Druguiao in 9.

    The End.

A lot of bitching and moaning about a bunch of what ifs.

The fact of the matter is that Pac destroyed a GBP fighter in Ricky Hatton. Shane SHOULD have signed with Arum instead of GBP because obviously he is getting screwed over by not getting any big fights. You guys are also forgetting that Pac has fought 2 Arum fighters since destroying Ricky Hatton. The money is all in house for Bob Arum.

Let's play a bunch of what ifs. Let's say Pac fought Mosley in November instead of Cotto. Mosley obviously would have fought at a catchweight as did Cotto. There would have been tons of excuses flying around if and when Pac would have won.

    1) Mosley was weight drained
    2) Mosley was too old
    3) Mosley was too slow.

2 and 3 are the same lousy excuses why Shane lost to PBF. Nevermind the fact that it was PBF's brilliant game plan that took out Shane.

We can All AGREE that if Shane fought in November, that would have been 8 months since the Margarito fight. Compare that to the 15 month layoff that he had before fighting PBF. The Big QUESTION is how long did the 15 layoff affect Mosley vs an 8 month layoff with a catchweight stipulation.

In conclusion, chances are it would have been the same result. Mosley might even would have possible brain damage for weight draining himself and fighting Pac. He would have certainly have gotten his big payday but at what expense? So half of it can go to Jin? Would people really respect Pacquiao for taking out 2 legends from a previous era?

What does that leave PBF after his fight during Marquez? Would he have fought Cotto? Do you think he would have had the balls to fight Pacquiao after a Pac victory over Mosley?

A lot of ifs and what ifs about nothing. I honestly don't know what to tell you guys. And for people who take everything Roach says as gospel truth. The guy can say one thing and say another next week, so who really gives a **** what he says. Newsflash: Roach gets paid to talk **** just like Floyd Sr. does with his son.

The point is, we got 2 of the best welterweights on a collision course and they just happend to take out the next 3-5 welterweights in Cotto, Mosley and Clottey. What more can you ask for?

I swear you Pac fans use whoever is convenient in that clown camp.

    -- Pac follows his team!
    -- Roach isn't Pac!
    -- Arum isn't Pac!

What the hell is it? They all work for Pac. So if they do ignorant ish it falls on Pac! Especially so if he doesn't correct it!

This is ****ing simple. YOU DO NOT TAKE 15 MONTHS OFF WHEN YOU ARE 38 YEARS OLD.

And then jump straight into fighting Floyd Mayweather. Mayweather was clever enough to use a lightweight as his comeback bout. Mosely should have had a warmup confidence building bout first.

To an older body 15months is a long time, this is why Calzaghe should not make a comeback.

I still think Mosley will give Pac a hell of a fight. Pac and Shane styles invite each fighter to get KOd. Mayweather is a complete different fighter then Pac, that know one has beaten yet. Pac would be a easier fight for Shane because he can hit him a lot offten did he hit Floyd. I can see Pac getting hit with Shane right through out the fight, and being that we know that Shane is probably the hardest hitter between the two. How many of them shots can Manny take before going down?

Maybe Pac wanted a bigger challenge. I mean he gets criticized for fighting 30 year old fighters who are supposedly shot, imagine a 38 year old.

As for Roach's comments. Roach says alot of things. You can't pick and choose what Roach says is true and what isn't. Roach says Mosley wasn't a big enough draw for the danger, but he also says that Pac is better than Floyd and that Floyd's legs are done. You can't take everything Roach says at face value.

In the end, Pac beat the crap out of the guy who beat a younger, fresher Mosley. People wanna say Cotto was shot cause he lost to Margarito, but Mosley lost 5 times and he was 38 years old and he was inactive for like a year and a half. That's alot worse.
