Miguel Cotto who in his next fight moved up and won a title at 154.

Mosley's reflexes are shot. please look at his last 2 fights. Hell look at his fight with Cotto when Cotto was boxing him off the back foot. pac's speed is going to KO Mosley.

    if it does happen.. expect..
    Mosley-Floyd II
    Pac-Cotto/Margarito
    or
    Pac-Floyd (40-60 purse split)

he could conceivabley check that chin- he still has almighty power- and if he caught manny with a big punch- it could rock him. i dont believe in punchers chances- it aint luck if your aiming to hit someone and you land. he has the power to hurt anyone under 147- and that includes manny, i just dont think that with mannys movement , he ll be able to land clean, manny rolls with punches, deflects them , and moves into pucnhes, and tampers the power with his skill- so even though he gets hit more than someone like floyd- he dosent get hurt often.

with that being said- if it did happen?
then manny would lose alot of cred- the fight with floyd would be gone. he d probably move down to 140 and fight guys like bradley, and build up again, and perhaps even retire.

i think at this stage boxing loves manny more than manny loves boxing- which isnt to say he dosnet love it- but he can live without it. only a fight with floyd i think would really inspire him to try his very best and train his arse off. i think against mosley , he d take it easy like he did against tony. but in the end- he s so damn talented that he kos mosley within 7 i think- by tko, not ko but its stopped due to one sided ness, mosley will rock him a couple of times - even put him down - but that ll just get mannys attention and he ll box more. i think against shane- manny will be tempted to go toe to toe, use less in and out- and try and outdo floyd by getting in there and throwingbombs and being macho. i think if anything that could be his downfall- not that mosley is great anymoore , or anything else- but that manny wont take it as seriously and train 100 percent. i think manny at 60 percent beats anyone in his classes other than floyd though.

I think he does. I'm not saying that Mosley is going to win but styles make fights and Pac got hit way too much in the Margo fight. Mosley hits way harder and is faster than Margo. If Pac was to do the same as in the Margo fight and try to slug it out then Mosley would have a good punchers chance. Mosley barely hit Floyd because Floyd is a defensive genius but Pac isn't.

Would mean, fights need to be won in the ring. Not on paper. Cotto beat mosley, Mosley beats margartio, margarto beats Cotto. Always happeneds ABC of boxing.

I see your logic in that pac is not a defensive genius and that is true. I just don't think Mosley can pull the trigger as they say and Mosley's power at 147 is a lil overated. When was the last time you seen him starched somebody cold? Adrian Stone maybe 10 years ago? Even if he catches Pac with one and wobbles him he won't be able to follow up and finish imo.

Probably a rematch if he wins. It means there are no meaningful fights for Mayweather, whoever he fights, it will be 'so what'. There also isn't much for Shane in terms of big money fights, other than rematch Pac or Cotto
