only haters don't care that he's still undefeated ...

Margarito was a product of media hype ... he also was a man with 5 L's on his resume ... and if it wasn't for Cotto we wouldn't be talking anything about that bum.

    :good

Mayweather and his fans think P4P goes on how many losses (or lack of) you have on your resume..... fools

actually it depends how the fights actually go. Win or Lose is one thing. But there's a difference between winning like PBF/ODLH and winning like PAC/ODLH know what I mean?

I would have a hard time ranking shane over cotto seing as how cotto has a win over him and if he beats clottey. Considering plastergate, Cotto's name would have to be in the discussion over mosley. Clearly though if the winner of JMM PBF is number one.

I agree Margarito is a bum. But if Mosley beats Pac it would still be more then Floyd has done so far, and thus worthy of more accolades.

thats why I started the thread ... I want to see them fight ... it'll be interesting to see who's number 1 if everything goes down the way I think it will.

Will they be fighting for the right to be the #1 fighter in the world ...

Christ, he hasn't even fought since coming out of retirement and you want to crown him already. He can have it when he beats Mosley. He doesnt get it for coming back and beating a smaller JMM.

Floyd has every advantage in this fight except balls and heart. JMM can't win a decision and he knows it because everyone wants to see Floyd vs Mosley/Pac.

really hard to say at this point, it depends on a lot of things

depends on who wins in the JMM-PBF fight
depends on how dominant or close the fights are

IMO Shane would be a favorite in the fight unless the catchweight is way too low. PBF is already a clear favorite over JMM so wins by Shane and PBF would not have as much weight (don't get me wrong, they would definitely be significant and have weight, but not as much as JMM winning over PBF and Pac winning over Shane)

If JMM wins, he's #1 regardless of the winner of the Pac Mosley fight(unless Pac totally dominates shane (which i highly doubt))

If Pac wins and JMM loses, Pac retains #1

If PBF and Shane win, with them being the favorites to win, it would be harder to tell and would really depend on how they win.

    It's called promotion by Mayweather.

No one not even Mayweather fans think that, you just think that everything Floyd says that his fans will agree.

Just like the fight with Marquez is purely a warm up fight back into boxing.

Floyd isn't going to say it's a warm up, a great way to sell PPV huh? Hey guys Marquez doesn't stand a chance, its just a warm up. :patsch:patsch:patsch

Probably JMM if he beats Floyd... if Floyd wins people might want to see him in there with another fighter more his size before they proclaim him the #1 fighter p4p again.
