    What makes you say he would fancy his chances against those guys? His win over Crazy Kim, Shannon Taylor, Pintos and Geale? ever asked why he hasn't even sniffed a fight with two of the top six fighters at 168?

    Just curious.

    Hey Gaz. In all seriousness what do you base your opinions on?

    Mundine has never beaten a fighter of the calibre of any of these guys, and has fought rubbish opponents (apart from Geale) for the last 3 years.

    It's mindblowing that Mundine fans claim what they claim.

    :lol::lol::lol:

    He voluntarily gave up that belt to avoid rematching Kessler, so what confidence are you referring to?

    You must be new to Mundine-nuthugging...it's funny, I can recall a poster who no longer posts here saying the exact same thing way back in 2004/2005 - words to the effect that Mundine just has to let his hands go - Ottke did a lot more damage to Mundine's psyche than he has ever let on :yep

    As far as letting his fists fly more - it hasn't happened yet, I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you :lol:

    Lets get real here. Both Mundine and Geale in 2009 would lose to all 6 fighters in the 168 tournament imo, even Jermain Taylor and i would be very shocked if they also didn't lose 2 or 3 by KO.

    LOL at the deluded in this thread who reckon Mundine in 2009 could beat the likes of Ward and Dirrell. ****EN LOL.

    Lets just say, this opinions are opinions and everybody is entitled to them.

    I respect most peoples opinions, just doesn't mean we all agree sometimes. Otherwise there would be no need for sites such as these.

    Also i wouldn't say I am a massive Mundine fan, more someone that has watched boxing for close to 20 years and can appreciate that he is a very talented if not floored boxer. i like everyone else wish he would step up, often I wish he would shut up and ultimately i wish he would man up (pardon the pun). But the days of boxing being a legitimate and mainstream sport have long gone. Often the politics out of the ring dictates who fights who, and the fact that there are so many regulating bodies makes it difficult to get fights done. Its no excuse I know, but often wondered why Sven never fought Joe and you basically have my answer.

    I am sorry if I upset whomever is the Froch fan, I just remember alot of people and experts at the time saying that Green, Echols and Soliman all were going to expose the Man for a fraud and knock him out. Now hindsight is a wonderful thing and if I know now what happened then I would be a millionaire. But it just seems the same kind of bravaso is coming from the Froch camp after beating Direll and Pascal (correct me if I am wrong but I thought Dirrell only had 10 fights). Whilst I admit there is alot of potential in Froch to compare Dirrell to Mundines opponents is Apples and oranges. Ontop of that saying he would knock Mundine out is laughable if the viking warrior couldn't do it what makes you think Froch can. From memory he has only been down 3 times in 36 or so fights.

    I am not claiming he is a worl beater, far from it, hyse that if he were in the super 6 I could see him being about middle of the road. Dont think thats too astonishing is it.

    Taylor would look ten times the boxer that Mundine looks if he had the same comp over the last three years.
