If Nathan Cleverly wasnt good at LHW, why do so many top LHWs fight his former foes?

Cleverly beats Murat, who Hopkins went on to fight

Cleverly beats Mohammedi who seems may get a shot at Kovalev after Pascal

Cleverly beats Kuziemski who Pascal fights after

Cleverly beats Bellew who Stevenson went on to fight

Cleverly beats Karpency who Dawson went on to fight

    I agree.
I think he may have lost the Kovalev fight before it started. Nathan didnt use his old push back and throw combinations style, but chose to cover up. Maybe had he gone all out, he may have lost sooner, we wont know, but I think he would have done a bit better pushing Kovalev back and fighting in close, but Kovalev does seem like a very good LHW champ and a tough fighter to beat

He was much better at LHW than CW.... Probably top 10 at LHW, nowhere near top 10 at CW. Only lost to the top dog at LHW. Might be just outside of the top 5. I can see him beating anyone not named Kovalev, Stevenson, Braehmer, Pascal, and Beterbiev. I think he would have beaten Hopkins had they actually fought.

He was a very decent LHW, top 10 easy, off top of head only Kovalev, Beterbiev, Stevenson, Hopkins, Pascal are better than him today (forgot Russian prospect too)

I dont think he will be the LHW he once was if he does drop back down.
Before Kovalev, I think he would have beaten most of the top LHWs

At that time Im not sure Beterbiev had, had any more than maybe 2 fights.
I dont think Pascal was better than Nathan then. I would have favoured Nathan, but not now

Hopkins one of his worst ever defences as a near 50something, is being used by failey to prove prime clev's greatness? flop, failey.

using fiction that hasn't happened to boost clevs greatness? sounds like your other hero, flop failey.

it was a comeback fight for Pascal, non-title. flop failey.

Stevenson is doing his best impression of Clev, hes not to be used as an example of good defences! fFLOP failey.

Dawsons trying to get back into the big time, not like Clev at the time who was defending a "title".FLOP.

discuss why you are comparing Clevs so called fake world title defences (clevs best ever fights) to non title comeback fights (weakest opposition of others at their ebbs).

    Yep, discuss that.

The biggest flop is you posting on here Herol and you havent countered anything. In fact you self pwned when you mentioned Clevs so called fake world title defences and then tried to make out it was acceptable for others to fight his former opponents

Cleverly would get wrecked at LHW now, but he was better than people liked to make out.

Maybe people were thinking "If Cleverly can beat this guy, I can definitely beat this guy so I'll fight him"

Cleverley himself was very underrated at the weight, although at the point he fought in it (following the retirement of another Welsh chap) the division was overrated- as proved by Cannuk comedy acts such as Pascal, Stevenson, along with glass chinned Dawson and ex Calzaghe victim Hopkins becoming the MEN in that division.

Could you imagine someone who got knocked out by Boone (like Stevenson did) or being schooled by Froch (i.e. Pascal), or schooled by Karepncy like Dawson troubling the top of the division when 'Zaggers was king? :think
