German newspaper BILD says, if there is no Jennings fight, Wlad will be back in may/june in germany.

That would be a perfect date for the Fury fight, if Fury ha ***** to step in the ring with Wlad. Talking and fighting are the diffferent things :deal

I hope the Jenni fight will happen anyway, but alternertively a Fury showdown in Germany would do fine too.

What concerns me though, is that so many ignorant Germans would like to see Wlad vs Briggs, wich would be a farce if it happened at that time

Reports are Wlad will try to fight in Munich around May/June in case Jennings falls apart. That sounds like a Briggs fight to me.

Fury in May. Huge fight. Still hope Jenninfs gets made. I would give Jennings one more week he may be stalling to see results of Stiverne fight although I don't know why with Wlad being the far bigger payday. Don't duck out RNS.

Obviously, Jennings will only fight Wlad if the money is right. If that is not the case, he will take the winner of stiverne-wilder whoch eh thinks is an easier fight.

That would be good news. Wlad could finally fight Fury.

Why are you still hopings for the Jennings fight?

We all would rather like to see the Fury. Wlad should do his fans a favour for once and fight Fury.

    Stiverne-Wilder

    Wlad-Fury

That would noz be bad for a division that has been dead the last 10 years.

Because Fury is a mandatory, which means Wlad will fight him next after this fight. Wlad doesn't get many voluntary defenses holding all the straps that he does. I am not opposed to Fury I want that fight too, I just want the Jennings fight in April.

Wlad should fight in a voluntary defense, then Fury and Stiverne/Wilder. I want him to get atleast 20 consecutive defenses.

Wlad fought in front of a total live gate of 1+ million people, you call the division dead? When was the last time a HW champion got 1 million boxing fans to travel to his fights and pay to watch him live?

Chef made a good point that K2 most likely offered Jennings a slave contract.

It was exposed on here before by a German poster how horrific the terms and conditions were for voluntary opponents.

If Deontay Wilder loses Saturday (a good chance that may happen) Jennings would be considered the Best American Heavyweight right now. I think he actually is, but I know the Wilder hype drowns out that opinion and Wilder to his credit with his punch is more "dangerous."
So if Wilder does lose, you can have the Heavyweight Champion of the world fighting the best American Heavyweight in a voluntary defense in New York City what is not to like about that.
That is why I am gravely disappointed in Jennings and RNS if they let this opportunity slip away. The ducking being done by these American promotional teams is really becoming pandemic. It's bad for the sport. Jennings is from Philly where's your pride! Speak up! I hope Bernard starts calling out some of these guys. Guy is 50 challenging the best constantly and you got guys turning down career high paydays in their prime. Sad.
