Now might be the right time for anyone in lower half of the WBC 15 to get some rumors into circulation that they're carrying an injury, badly out of condition, been getting beaten up in sparring and lost motivation, etc.

Thankfully after that Stiverne 'fight' I think we've finally hit rock bottom with Wilder, and the only way is up (Yazz). Pretty much all those opponents would automatically be his biggest test. Just please not Bellew.

    Stay busy and fight Breazeale/Whyte.

Gets rid of a mandatory and gives a measuring stick vs Joshua.

I'd like this too if he doesn't fight Ortiz. Most fans would like to see Wilder measured up against Joshua by facing a common opponent, so far we only have the Molina and Gavern fights as a comparison.

I could see someone like Negron, Kownacky, Adamek or Dimitrenko. Untested, low threat and past it opponents. They'll also likely go for the usual 250k payday and suck up the 3-4 week training camp.

However, it's already looking like it's going to be Breazeale next. I actually think this could be competitive. Breazeale is big, tough and game and can also swat a bit. There's a fair bit of genuine beef between the two aswell which will at least make the build up interesting.

Wilders camp can't really afford most of those guys on the pole and keep home advantage so can't really foresee any of those other fights EVER happening.

You actually think Wilder-Bellew would be competitive?! Both Wilder and Whyte would destroy Bellew brutally. Especially Wilder.

Derric Rossy sounds like a possible opponent for the most feared one.

But Americans dont seem to understand that. They think putting Whyte is a Roadblocker to AJ,they do not understand the process of Build Up and Hype suprising given Mayweather was also a American and a Legend at it.

Parker to unify is my pick

if not it's a tie between miller or pulev or whyte as they embody top contenders from us Europe and the UK

In reality a 20-fight Joshua shouldn't mean *that* much to a 39-fight veteran like Wilder. Although I can see how completely intertwining Wilder with Joshua ("there is no other fight") can offer some comfort to the last few Wilder fans who still take him seriously.
