That's what i was wondering too, Green i believe has fought a few times at lightheavyweight, when has he ever weighed 160?
Of course, for the MW championship of the world, you gotta take some chances.

 

green blames the loss on his condition with his colon. as to why he lost to miranda. states he can make 160 just fine. he fought miranda at 162 i belive . he should make weight woth over 80% of his colon gone . i think KP blasts him in 8rds

Pavlik vs. Williams is just ridiculous. You'd think Arum would remember that the champ Pavlik dethroned faced criticism for making his defenses against champs in lower divisions.

 

Gree/Pavlik would be a killer fight at 168....not 160. Green is a very underrated fighter IMO and I think it will take a slick guy like hime to beat KP. He's just to big to make the 160lb. limit.

 

Does anybody know how much Winky is asking? Can't be that unreasonable

 

If Arum cannot make the Winky fight, Pavlik should start putting some feelers out to other promoters. As for Mora, I think Williams would ***** slap him back to the contender arena for Mora/Manfredo III.

 

he asked for 2million + a 50k dental plan, 800k medical plan and 401k plan set up. would also like a liabilty clause for any damge done do him that exceeds the total net of his purse.

 

Yeah, I agree. I think Don King or some other promoter would have got him the fight with Winky. This mentality of fighting whoever my promoter puts in front of me is ruining the opprotunity for some great fights. I would love for Kelly to call of Winky, thus forcing negotiations

Arum, this year , seems to want his fighters to take the path of least resistance. He wants everything to stay in house

Arum also keeps looking for the low bidder. That's not the way to make great fights. arum needs to get off his wallet and invest in his fighter! Make the god damn winky fight, and then follow through with Abraham as planned next January. That would mean that in roughly a years time Pavlik beat Taylor, Wright, and Abraham. What would that make him worth????

 

Someone claimed he wanted $2.5 mill, but I've seen no source on that one.
