I'm glad to see another ESB alum who really knows his boxing. We don't have alot of true fans on this site anymore. just a bunch of crashers like
Hendo who make unsubstanciated claims about fighters he's never seen.

Boytzov won't face anyone of note for years to come. Remember how they still have Dimitrenko. They will try to get him a shot first.

Boytsov has a great future. He is awesome. He needs more time, but he would knock Haye out fight now. He is very heavy handed, has skills.

Fans want to see Vitali or Vlad fight Haye, but Haye will not fight them. I don't blame Haye, he knows he would get knocked out and lose his paper title that Chagaev won in the right. Will WBA have to force Haye to fight Chagaev?

Boytsov is under Universum Boxing Promoution. They don't move their boxers fast.

Boytsov should fully recover from his hand surgery first then test waters taking some tune up fight. If fine he should fight someone decent, if he gets passed that then he would be a serious contender.
right now hes a untested prospect and he doesnt deserve the shot and therefore Klits wont get any credit if the fight and beat him too.

Haye doesn't move laterally unless he's running from something. He doesn't punch while on the move, and is ridiculously predictable when he loads up with the right. If Boytsov touches him once he's on ***** street, because Boytsov has good power and Haye has no chin at all. He laterally RAN from Valuev, he'll have to do more against Boytsov. Like throwing punches for example, and more than 12 a round.

Boytsov vs. Wladdy would be a nice fight IMO. Just like Haye, Wladdy can't afford being hit by Boytsov. Boytsov throws nice combinations and has some speed as well. The only things that remains to be seen is how Denis would get past the jab, and if Wlad would make him gunshy.

are you talking about the same guys who put Vitali in with LL on short notice and Chagaev with Wlad on short notice?
and are also responsible for match ups like Abdullayev vs Cotto, Kessler vs Sartison, Zsolt Bedak vs WV2 or Alexeev vs Lebedev and many others?
They may dont know **** and their guy always get their asses handed when they step up but these guys must have decent balls compared to many ****s in that sport.

I understand that the in thing to do on ESB is to hate David Haye, and I really can't defend him there. He did say he was going to fight Klitschko and now he isn't. It's as simple as that.

But you can't look past his skillset and tallent. While he does occasionaly do some dumb ****, like throw a lunging punch when both of his feet are together, for the most part he is technically sound.

Boystov on the other hand is very square and straight foward. He uses his size and strength to close the distance, but stands straight up and down, is relatively undersized to implement that type of strategy in the heavyweight division, especially if he wants to have a long career, and often lunges in like an amateur.

On top of that, the list of his opponents are the whos who of nobodies knows who nor give a ****. His opponents are typically, slow, straight up and down, or off balance less than journeyman that haven't beaten anyone themselves.

Experience counts a lot, and a guy like Boystov who would be very hittable against a guy like Haye who uses angles and has been using lateral movement very successfully in the latter part of his career, (IE what you call running, I call boxing), and has a massive speed advantage plus the experience I'm refering to.

Did you not watch Haye vs Ruiz? What makes Haye dangerous IS his lateral movement. Yes, I understand you the hate the guy, but don't look past his ability.

Boystov is an uproven, unknown, green quantity, that honestly looks to have very limited potential.

I know you got a crush on him and he may actually win a belt in this kind of heavyweight environment, but he will never beat Haye or the Klitschkos.

The real question is did you really watch Haye - Ruiz? Haye was hit by Ruiz at will dont give me that movement bulshitt RJJ had good movement and he embarrased a prime ruiz haye was tagged repeatedly by a washed up retiring fighter.. Barrett sure as hell had no problem with his " lateral ' movement haye has **** fundamentals and his defence is his offence.. he literally turned away and ran from valuev on several occasions.. not exactly a good show of lateral movement.:deal

Haye did get caught in the corner occasionaly by Ruiz who has a hell of a lot more experience, I mean not even a comparable amount of experience than Boystov, who again has BEAT OR FOUGHT NOBODY, but Haye did not get tagged clean or hit with a hard shot once in that fight.

And he has much better fundamentals than Boystov who is basically a big target for anybody who can box, which luckily for him, there are very few people who have that capability in the heavyweight division.

That would b a great match up. Boystovs chin is still untested but he's a lot faster the Ruiz and hits harder. This is one fight that is not going the distance. The ?'s r how well can boystov deal with Hayes speed and will How long can Hayes chin hold up?

Exactly! I also think that it's wlad's jab that would neutralize denis. Boytzov doesn't use too much of a bob and weave style to get in on wlad and walk him down, but he does use good angles. Any knowledgeable aficianado can see haye would get clean slept by the russian.
