If fight doesn't come to fruition, what are some possibilities for Parker. Many are suggesting Browne, who isn't rated with WBO YET, and unless it would prove lucrative then I opine that it won't go ahead, due to the fact that Browne is too dangerous - he has one punch power. So, if we take a look at the WBO ratings... 1 Christian Hammer (WBO Europe) GER 2 Tom Schwarz (Int-Cont) GER 3 Dominic Breazeale USA 4 Jarrell Miller USA 5 Dillian Whyte JAM 6 Alexander Povetkin (International) RUS 7 Kyotaro Fujimoto (Asia-Pacific) JPN 8 Zhilei Zhang (Oriental) CHN 9 Carlos Takam CAM 10 Hughie Fury UK 11 Agit Kabayel GER 12 Otto Wallin SWD 13 Amir Mansour USA 14 Luiz Ortiz CUB 15 Andy Ruiz USA We know Povetkin is fighting Hammer as an eliminator, so a huge lure to Russia could look attractive to Parker, assuming Povetkin wins. If Hammer wins that one then I think Parker would bring Hammer to NZ to get the mandatory out of the way. I believe the mando is due a bit earlier due to the Fury stalls (not sure about that though), and if Joshua is a no go and there is a filler before Povetkin then who could it be? Is it worth risking the WBO AT ALL? Why fight for sub million dollars in nz/Japan/Australia and risk a possible monster payday in Russia? People want Parker, and Wilder for that matter, to fight Whyte, for example, in order to gain leverage. But I don't see Hearn taking that into account anyway, as a reason to pay the two guys more. So Whyte, literally ofers very little as a scalp.
It doesn't seem like a unification is going to happen next between any of the champions. I think Browne is an obvious fight for Parker to take next. It does good business down there and Parker would be a clear favorite. Bryant Jennings seems like a guy on Parker's short list. Arum has been wanting that fight for ESPN for a while now and if it's not Browne I think it's Jennings.
Contracts have been exchanged for a fight with Lucas Browne. Big Daddy has signed but Parker hasn't pending the outcome of negotiations with Anthony Lowball.
