If not Mitchell, who should/ will Ricky Burns fight next?

Yeah its the best fight for us lads, but is it the best fight for both Kev and Ricky???

 

I can think of other fights id rather see Burns in than Mitchell , i think youve got this the wrong way round , its actually a better option for the fighters , not neccesarily the fans , all be it , its a fan friendly all UK based fight for a world title , i still the cap fits both Burns and Mitchell

Burns fights a fringe contender for a good payday in a fight he'll be confident he can win

Mitchell fights for something he's always wanted , a world title , for a good payday , against a somewhat lesser regarded titlist

 

I mean from a UK battle type match up England vs Scotland and all that mate.

plenty fights out there for him, we'll prob get another euro level max opponent though

 

I don't think Barrera will fight again TBH, sparring Jeff and that was the first time he put a pair of gloves on in over a year. Apparently his gym is doing really well at the moment as well so maybe he's happy doing the training side of the game
