Cotto vs Mayweather should be happening next. The timing is perfect with Cotto just fighting his last fight on his Top Rank contract. He should only renew if Arum will give him a pass to fight Mayweather as a free agent.

The time is now. IMO, Cotto shouldn't resign with TR and look to make that megafight with Mayweather. Win or lose, he'd get the biggest payday of his entire career and the chance at greatness.

Dont think the TS has boxed thus he can't speak on experience-(no harm towards the TS)..

I mean it does make a difference-4 LBS IS A LOT OF WEIGHT, WHEN YOUR ALREADY DEHYDRATING YOURSELF TO MAKE IT

Yeah you're talking about a naturally muscular guy who walks around at 178 lbs ... he'll be committing suicide going down to 154 lbs, realistically he probably cant make 150lbs ... it's not good for his body, he'll lose a ton of muscle and may get knocked out. I don't think any amount of money is worth it. I think he should definitely look for trying to get Mayweather at a catch weight and try to defend his ring middleweight championships.

4 lbs is a lot of weight when you have to starve and dehydrate yourself to lose it. You run the risk of losing muscle ... just like DLH went down to welterweight to fight Pacquiao ... he lost muscle, he bruised easily, and he didn't take punches the same and when he landed his punches were ineffective, it looked like he didn't land **** against Pac.

Or Yuri Foreman v Daniel Santos ... Foreman is by no means a power puncher but he was on the verge of stopping Santos because Santos had to struggle to lose 3-4 lbs the day of weigh in.

I've boxed as a child and teen at my uncle's basement and local gyms, I just never dedicated my life or bothered to make a career out of it. My cousin Angel Soto actually fought on the Mayweather/Ortiz undercard n my Fam has been involved in the sport for while so I know boxing.. I'm not one of these clueless fans that run around watching YouTube boxing lessons and pretends to know lol.. How bout you?.. If u know anything about Maravilla at all then u know the man is ALL about strenght and conditioning.. the man does triathlons n ****. He is a 37 yr old genetic freak that always stays in top shape. If he believes he can fight effectively at 150 I believe him.

Bob Arum doesn't want Pac to fight Mayweather because he knows that Pacquiao will lose momentum and his career will be done.

Like I said before he may lose power I doubt he'll lose his stamina.. Sergio knows his body and his limits n if u don't think so then u don't know much about Serge. I hope Floyd thinks like u though.. Maybe he'll surprise me n take the fight.

There is no legit guy but Sergio. Pac is a ***** and tried to get an easy win against a lightweight and it backfired. If he fights Cotto, *******s will be lined up to discredit the win. Floyd is in a tough spot.
