would you give Manny of defeating Floyd if ever they fight.

Currently, many say Floyd/Manny is a 50/50 fight or a 60/40 fight in favor of either fighther. So if Ortiz wins against Floyd, is it already a given that Manny will win against Floyd?

Hmm, never thought about this before... I guess it depends on the manner in which he losses...

Wouldn't matter Ortiz has a destructive style while manny plans his attacks one thing about Ortiz that bothers me as a ex trainer is that he leaves his feet when he throws his best punch the right hook if he does it in this fight I look for Floyd to counter him with the right hook and knock him down because of Ortiz being off balance if Ortiz cannot correct this mistake he's in for a long night

He is giving a hypothical, not asking if they would fight but what would Pac's chance of winning be.

styles make fights so Ortiz beating Mayweather shouldn't really mean that Pac has a better or worse chance of beating Mayweather.

It would depend of if Mayweather took heavy damage in the fight to improve Pac's chances "based off one fight".

It depends, Floyd will have a different game plan for each different fighter.

If Ortiz beats Mayweather thoroughly then you have to contemplate that he's experienced some serious rapid improvement in the last year; therefore becoming an elite fighter. Pacquiao would be favourite but the odds would be dramatically shorter than they are currently.

Regardless, Ortiz will be getting stopped this Saturday night. I'd like to see him face Khan at 147 after this.

    EDIT!

Somehow I turned this into a Pac vs Ortiz thread. To answer the original question.. styles make fights. If Floyd loses against Ortiz, I would change my mind from 60/40 in favour of Mayweather to 60/40 in favour of Pac.
