Cotto wouldn't risk his fight with DLH by facing Margo. However, I think he would offer the posponed fight to Margo right after.

I'd hope he'd still fight Antonio.

DLH hasnt proven much except he can still pull in the £££££££££££'S

Cotto, as most fighters, would fight Oscar. You don't throw away a winning lotto ticket.

It's funny that at the time he was the only one that voted it. It's funny that anybody is voting the top box. This is funny because there is no way in hell Cotto would pass up a fight with Delahoya at this stage in his career to fight Margarito :deal

Your thread is rhetorical rather than quizzical?
Why bother with the 2 option boxes then?
You are right by the way,so why bother with a mute top choice?

If Oscar offers you a fight and you don't accept then you are out of your mind. Oscar as we all know brings the money.

    Floyd should still fight Cotto

He'd most likely fight DLH instead of Margarito. DLH is about to retire, Margarito will be there after. Not a big surprise.

So we are all pretty much in agreement that Floyd Mayweather is doing nothing that Cotto wouldn't be. So why all the hate? Why all the 'floyd is ducking Cotto' bull****?

Cotto would do the same, take the Oscar fight while it's offered and then fight Floyd after.

Cotto would fight De la Hoya instead of Margarito.

Cotto would fight De la Hoya instead of Mayweather.

    No doubt.

    Evidence:

    NOV 2007 -

"WBA welterweight champion Miguel Cotto doesn't call out
other fighters and steadfastly maintains that he doesn't
choose his opponents and he'll fight whomever Top Rank puts
him in with. However, his uncle/manager/trainer Evangelista
Cotto told El Nuevo Dia that a May 3 superfight with Oscar
De La Hoya is clearly the preferred alternative for the unbeaten
champion from Cauguas, Puerto Rico. "Right now a fight with De la
Hoya is more marketable than one with Mayweather," said Evangelista,
"even though De la Hoya lost to Mayweather in his last fight and
Mayweather won last night against Hatton, De La Hoya remains the
most marketable....the other names that have been mentioned to
fight with Miguel do not compare economically with a fight with De la Hoya."

That's why I respect you and your posts. I said this long ago but it fell on deaf ears so I just let it go.
