I think the fight that makes most sense, if he gets beat, is Kongo. The fight with Werdum was meant to be The Reems introduction to the casual fans but it was a bit of a let down (not wholly Overeems fault) and if he gets beat in his next fight that'll be too fights in a row were he has let down, at least the casual fans will see that way. Overeem has the potential to be a huge PPV draw. He has an exciting striking based style, he has huge muscles, he's a HW and he is a likeable dude. So I think Dana will want to give him maybe a fight or two where he can look impressive and then move him on to some bigger fights like Carwin or Barnett.
This. Overeem can make a fantastic amount of money in the US market. Im sure Dana knows that. Expect him to get the 'push' very quickly.
No he can't, Dana will steal it right out of his pocket. He'll be lucky to make thirty grand on a million-selling PPV card. Overeem would make more money, get more exposure and be treated better anywhere he went outside the UFC. :good :hat
