Not going to happen of course, but if it did, I'd place my money on Gamboa very confidently.

    Am I being unreasonable?

I sincerely hope for Pacman's sake that he doesn't fight Gamboa. Gamboa's probably the only fighter who could give Guzman a run for his money.

I would take Pac. I like proven fighters with proven chins. Gamboa has greater talent but there are still too many unknown variables for me to pick him above the proven guy.

If Gamboa proves to have a solid chin (Which i think he has) and stamina to go 12 fast paced rounds I'd give him a very good chance of beating Pacquiao, infact I'd probably favour him.

Pac is proven vulnerable to slick counter punchers though, proven that he's bad backing up as well. Styles favour Gamboa, it's just a matter of suspect intangibles that come with any new prospect.

the question is will gamboa's chin hold against pac. he may win rounds with his good tactical skill but knowing pac, he would hit at least one solid shot, ask jmm. now could gamboa get up like jmm or will he be stopped after pac connects with a strong one. gamboa has never faced anyone with pac's power but pac has already faced a superior boxer in jmm.

CAN WE AT LEAST WAIT TO SEE THIS GUY GO SOME ROUNDS PLEASE!!
He hasn't fought beyond 6, and he's only been that far once. Considering the brutal pace he sets in his fights, you have to wonder what will happen if he goes a little further.
Look, i'm really hoping this guy has what it takes, cuz obviously he looks great everytime he gets in there.
But at the world-class PROFESSIONAL level, HE HASN'T DONE **** YET.
How great did Zab Judah look until he got into a long hard fight? Geez, boxing fans never learn, do they?

Think about it though, Gamboa is showing me that he is above Supernatural in ability, he's showing me that his potential lays in the 'Progenitor' class of boxer, the ultimate level that a boxer can achieve.

    Pacquaio?

Aren't we a bit over that guy in comparison to real phenoms?
