you said he'll win against pac, i think that is highly improbable. soto does not bring anything to the table that could hurt pac. jmm is better technically and both mab and morales are more powerful and have better chins.
i never said he will but he could, not saying that he totally dominates pac and if a fight between them happens i could see the fight going the distance. And soto also has power, tough chin, long reach. Prior to the guzman fight i gave him a chance of winning but guzman was slick and fast for him.
Prior to the Guzman fight, I saw Guzman outslicking the guy and always claimed Soto was a good solid fighter but thats it. And before this fight even happens(it never will), I see Pac KTFO Soto. Soto looked so unimpressive, and not because of Guzman. He was slow on the trigger, so many opportunities for him to get a simple counter over the top of Guzman's WIDE left hook yet instead he would just wait for it to land then throw a punch. They compared him to Erik Morales, Morales would have landed that overhand right time and time again, followed by a beautiful combination backing Guzman up with feints thrown in between. Soto did throw some jabbing feints a bit and everytime he did it, Guzman overreacted. Guzman also had very bad balance, heck the guy was loosing balance from missing from his wide left hook which doesnt even carry any power. Soto's combinations also looked robotic and painfully slow, no fluidity in them at all. JMM would have embarassed Guzman, probably an easier fight for him than Soto too cos of styles.
Listen I toguht that both Gamboa and Rigondeaux could beat anybody in that divison including Pacquiao when they were both still in cuba as amatures, So why would'nt i think Gamboa can do it now that hes in the pros making this great name for himself ? Plus the reason I came to ESB was to tell people about Gamboa the day I heard the defected in Venezuela
Because whilst being very experienced, he doesn't have sufficient experience in the pro game. He is hungry and exciting but until he fights a seasoned B level pro, it's unreasonable to even consider how he'd to against Pacman.
if he was able to beat top 10 guys like soto and juarez for example and wins impressively, i will pick him to beat pacman without hesitation even if i'm a big pac fan. guy can punch from all angles and has knockout power
This is a joke right? Pac KO's him early, Gamboa has never faced anyone like Pac who will continue to throw combinations at him, we don't even know if his chin is any good. A prospect vs a ATG?
