I think 135 lb would help manny alot more then JMM. JMM is fine at 130 and manny was tight at 130, i feel JMM would lose to most lightweights for being too small. JMM would prolly lose alot of his speed and power at 135 too, jmm could still make 126.

so who do you guys think would be he;ped more by a fight at 135?

    BTW great fight!

    It would help Manny.

At the same time, I don't think it would hurt Marquez either. His game is finding another fighters cadence and counterpunching him. He could do that at almost any weight.

Being fair..I like to see how PAC fights at 135 first because his workrate has significantly dropped ..It started with Solis, Mab now JMM..the drain could be hurting him.

JMM will be great at 135 as well
the guy is just a master out there...although his chin might even be more susceptible at that weight

For all his prowess, JMM does get hit alot as well..people forget this.

It would help Marquez he's naturally the bigger man ... it would hurt alot of PacMan's speed, power, and stamina ... considering he started off at jr fly ... thats like Arce fighting at 135 ... it will hurt manny.

Marquez fighting his career mostly at 125 would be at advantage - 10 pounds increases his power and wouldn't effect his body as it would Pacquiao.

Marquez has the naturally bigger frame ...

I think it would help JMM, despite the fact he seems to make weight easier at 130...My reasoning is that, the bulkier Manny gets, the worse his stamina and speed. He would KD JMM again, of course, but unless he stopped him with the greater power...which I don't think would happen, JMM would outbox him even easier...:conf

The higher the weight, the more it benefits the fighter that is more skilled.

A fighters skills always go up with him, but a puncher does'nt always take his punch up with him.
.....and you add to that, that Pac would be punching at a fighter with more body mass who could take his shots better.

I said it way before, that the Pac team had a choice for this fight to be at 135 lbs, JMM gave them that choice.....and the Pac team knew that going up in weight would benefit the boxer and not the puncher, they chose 130 lbs.

135 lbs benefits the more skillful JMM!

Bingo, you could tell from last nights fight that although Pac has better one shot power, physically JMM is stronger than Pacquiao.

    Good observation!:good
