    Is that Mannys best win?

He has a good resume as we all know. MAB Morales JMM.

But alot of people are claiming Mannys best win to be against Oscar as the jump in classes was seen as too much to soon. So where does a Hatton win match up to the rest of his victories?

I personally think it will be, even though he is favorite. On paper the DLH win looks great but he was a shadow on the night.. looked drained and didn't throw.

    no.

    1.MAB
    2. OSCAR - it was shocking not only coz he won but how he did it. almost nobody gave him a chance... only the *******s.
    3. EM
    4. JMM
    5. hatton

pac has already cemented his legacy... hatton is just another money fight for him before he retires.

  3. I put yes..... But it depends on how the fight is won.

    I think it is.

Marco and Erik were already on the way out and had spent 10 years at the top level.

I thought he lost both fights to Marquez.

Hatton is a legitimate 140lb fighter, Manny shouldn't really have what it takes to win.

Pac beat prime mab the first time... the old mab you were talking about was the one who almost beat JMM and knocked him down. :yep

Pac beat EM (a version good enough to beat JMM) when he was still in the P4P ranking was top 3 and retired him for good. :deal

But hatton is a much bigger win than let's say beating a shot casa. :yep

Look at MAB against Sanchez and Salud then look at MAB vs Pacquiao and Marquez. Different fighter. Pacquiao came into the picture when MAB was leaving the picture. He wasn't shot, still a good version, but he wasn't prime.

Erik Morales couldn't make 130lb in the second fight, and he was shot by the third fight.

    I agree.

first of all a not prime/one dimensional pac went up to 126 to fight the world champion in mab who was rank P4P no.3 that time and who just won against naz. :deal

    not prime my ass. :patsch

second a one dimensional pac was forced to went up to 130 again to fight the great erik morales... he lost in a close fight. Obviously he hasn't settle down in that weight class and as you can see he was very small compared to that 130 version of EM.

Pac beat EM the second fight... A good enough version that could have given JMM or any top super featherweight a run for their money, remember he only lost to raheem which is a lightweight. He was also in the top 10 P4P rankings at that time when he fought pac the second time. :deal

the third fight pac just destroyed him... he was done.

good post. MAB would still remain his biggest win but arguably, if not for the excuses of oscar being weight-drained or shot, it can surpass the MAB victory because of the size difference and how people view that pac would get decimated in that fight. possibly a hatton victory can be squeezed up to as high as number 2 depending on the manner of victory but a normal SD or close UD would probably only land as the 5th greatest pac victory.

Agreed. It going to depend on the performance of both fighters. If Hatton gets old and shot over night and Manny walks right though him like he did Oscar then the answer is no. But if Hatton puts up some serious resistance like most are predicting then I would tend to think it can be Manny's his best win based on the weight class and the amount of exposure that the fight will get.

I should have said No...but accidently voted top 3....one of his best in the top 5 but not his best in the top 3. MAB, EM, JMM and DLH are over Hatton IMO even though this is a SIGNIFIGANT win should he be victorious given that Rick is the legit 140 champ and in a completely new weight class.

    By far

    Hatton > MAB
    Hatton > Marquez
    Hatton > Morales

These are the only top level fighters Pac has faced.
