    Will this affect Floyds Legacy??

Im in the camp that PBF will not come out as a 33 year old to fight a tuneup and face PAC at age 34.

And yes he will affect his legacy due to the fact he left his best opposition at WW IMHO

Fixed..If Pac beats Hatton ..his legacy is locked higher than that of PBF unless Floyd beats him convincingly

Edwin Valero is a damn good backup plan

IMO, it will mean that Pac is a greater fighter p4p OAT than Floyd.

Pac will probly fight JMM. The backlash for Floyd though will be so much that even his huggers will disown him

One could argue Pac is already greater than Floyd.

no not really. pacquaio fight is just a gimic "top two" p4pers going at it. i would actually prefer if mayweather came back and fought any of the top 4 welters. Doubt that will happen though.

He'll have problems justifying his own high ranking let alone be compared to PAC

Legacy wise maybe, but h2h not yet.. But not coming out of retirement to fight a small jr WW p4p#1 at still a relatively young ring age will coz alot of "hes scared".."he knows he cant beat Pac".. speculations..

All of the negative things about Floyd that his haters will have you believe will be magnifide tenfold

I dont see how one can say to fight a smaller man. Pac might be a bit smaller but wheres all the **** about Margo fighting Floyd whos how much bigger than Floyd?

People will cut Floyd some slack regarding Margo and PW..
Not with Pac. which in truth is a little smaller than him..although not the size differential of Floyd/PW.

BTW you were right about Forrest Griffin..my brother in law said the same thing

People shouldn't cut him slack for it. Floyd is closer to size with Pac than he is with Margo by a big margin.

Yea, he's just a complete ****ing douche. I hope Evans knocks him the **** out.

i agree its not going to hurt floyd if he doesnt come out to fight pacman.

but at the same time it was floyd who set the ball rolling by saying how great he was but not fighting cotto or margarito.

Like I stated..Margo, PW and even Cotto...people can forget that because those guys arent luminaries and are high risk low reward.

Pac brings something to the table no one can..some peceived vulnerability and the greatest boxer of this generation crown if he beat Ricky.

He's not ducking Pac if he is retired..true
but his legacy will be diminished..especially and this is crucial..if he is perceived to be the clear favorite in the fight due to a slight size and clear style adv.
