If Pac beats Marg, does his weight-jumping top Hearns, Duran, RJJ and Oscar?

ffs. this is the kinda **** that annoys me.

he will demolish margo, everyone expects him to, it will be no great feat.

any plaudits you want to give him, should already be given. this wont even be a top 10 victory of his. if he is the greatest weight jumper, it will be because of what he has already achieved, not because he twatted some cheat

this is taken from an article on Ring tV. Floyd does n'tget mentioned as its about differance in pounds between lowest weight and highest. And Floyd's wasn't as big a stretch suprisingly as all those listed.

They did give him an honourable mention at the end though.

A few years back PBF was rooting for PAC against EM.

Look what they are now. PAC for me.

I think Pac's jumping may already be greater. If Marg fights like he did against Cotto and still loses then definitely.

I agree, Pac has already surpassed them.

He's won titles in 7 weight classes, which surpasses them by itself.

If he wins this one, its just icing on the cake.

Having said that, I don't think he's going to win this fight. I think his head is not in the game, and I think Margo is going to bring it 110%.

The reason I wrote 160-190 for Jones is because that was the weight limits of the divisions he jumped. In '03, anyone over 190lbs was a heavyweight. Roy Jones did not jump from 160lbs to 220lbs, he jumped from the 160lbs division to the 190+lbs division, himself weighing 193lbs.

As great as Pac is as enjoyable as he is to watch. We have to hold the fact that he fights at so many catch weights against him. I'd put him below all those guys as far as being weight jumpers but in terms of entertaining fights he's right here with them.

The big difference is that Pacquiao has had his ass handed to him in at least 50% of the divisions he has ever fought.

Some of the guys you are comparing him to OWNED every division they fought in

    Why? Quite easy.

Floyd has OWNED every division he has ever fought in. Everyone, he's just gone in and been the best there.

Can't say that about Pacquiao. Sorry.

He wasn't close to being the best at any weight under Featherweight. In fact he lost, and then left those divisions.

    Featherweight - never the best

Super featherweight - Most people argue Marquez was the best there. Not clear

Lightweight - did nothing. Fought nothing

Super-lightweight - debatable. Hatton was finished by then

Welterweight - Pacquiao hasn't fought anything close to the best, and his behind Mayweather there

Junior Middle - not even facing a recognized champ

There's a big problem with Pacquiao.

At least 50% of his divisions, he's either lost and never gone back, or faced absolutely nothing.

Flyweight - lost, and moved on. Never avenged

Featherweight - controversial draw with Marquez. Never avenged at featherweight. Moved on.

Lightweight - 1 fight against the worst champion there

Light-middle - fighting for vacant title, against a welterweight. Not even facing a current champion.

That's 4 divisions of just losing, or winning paper belts

If you're talking divisions where Manny has fought recognized elite champions, and won, he's probably closer to a 3-4 weight world champion

Yea RJJ was fighting Ruiz who weighs 230 fight night but he also put Pac down at 150, when in truth he will be fighting Margo who will weigh around 165 on fight night.

IMO, Margo is a much better opponent than Johnny Ruiz.
