If Pac beats Marg, does his weight-jumping top Hearns, Duran, RJJ and Oscar?

It was one of Pac's countrymen that prevented Armstrong from being a four division champion when he drew with Ceferino garcia for the middleweight title in a fight many observers thought Armstrong won.

And, more importantly, Armstrong sometimes weighed in 10+lbs lighter than the guys he fought in major fights.

I don't think I've ever seen a case where BOTH fighters are so utterly undeserving. Margarito is a cheater just coming off of suspension and fought Raul ****ing Garcia, Pacquaio has not even fought at the weight class. And this is for a world title? AND its at a catchweight for ****s sake??? I've never seen this before. Sorry.

Also dont forget that back then the weigh-ins were at the day of the fight therefore fighters werent able to put on weight like they do know with the weigh-ins happening the day before the fight.

    Try Roberto Garcia.

Margarito was a world welterweight champion, who just won the WBC International lightmiddleweight belt after moving up.

    Pacquiao is the world p4p#1.

Christ knows why this fight surprises anyone. Of course the WBC, or any other organization with a vacant title, would be falling over themselves to endorse it.

True. Armstrong's win over Barney Ross is light years ahead of anything Manny has done IMO.

    No apologies necessary...

Saying both are so utterly undeserving, despite their record of success at 147 kinda, says different.

    Yes, yes, no, and yes.

Nobody in the sports history topped what a pre-tarver healthy roy jones
did in this sport. Whether you hate on roy or not, he is one of the 5 best
    p4p fighters ever.

its kinda biased to not have floyd listed.

but then again pacman was 16 or 17 when he turned pro.

    floyd was 18.

so you gotta count the amount of time each fighter boxed.

length of careers gotta be a factor.
