Which I believe he will, in a tough fight, is he one of the greatest fighters of all time? Is he a top 20 ATG?

In my opinion, yes. His style is incredible, just incredible. And this fight is extremely meaningful in judging his legacy because he will get hit by a guy who is almost 20 pounds heavier than him and is known to be a powerful puncher period. This is an incredible test of Manny's durability, strength, heart, courage, and most important, chin. If he knocks out Marg, than he is the real deal, and his style really has no major flaws. What an incredible career he has had, and what an amazing streak he has been on.

If he defeats Marg, than its cool if he fights Floyd, but to be honest, I know what will happen, and Mayweather probably does too.

How do you guys view Manny's career if he defeats Margaito. Do you agree he will be one of the greatest fighters ever? I think were blessed to have him in the sport

By the way, Im putting a lot on the line creating this thread before the fight

Sorry I should have said that he will defeat Floyd. And I used to really think that Floyd would beat Pacquaio, but my opinion has changed. Hes the greatest right now.

If he loses tonight, I was totally and wrong about him being a top 20 ATG, and this is all false. But he has something special about him, he wont lose.

Hopefully, you don't change your mind again. The more people believe in emmanuel, the better it'll be after Floyd beats him!

We will see which marg shows up tonight.

Yea this fight will prove a lot!

You know why I strongly believe in Manny? Because I'm sure he has in mind that he will run for president soon. He has that unique motivation to win that only some fighters in the past have had. As insignificant as it sounds, it's a major factor, and the guy will fight his heart out no matter who or what is in front of him. In his mind it for his country.

Maybe they'll make emmanuel the betting favorite against Floyd. The Mayweather victory will be that much better if that happened!

Pac is favored heavily, but I'm personally hoping AMarg pulls it off. If he can replicate his Cotto self...

    I heard emmanuel won impressively!

Hopefully, moar people will believe in his chances against Floyd now and put their betting on emmanuel. It'll be similar to how Hearns became the favorite in Leonard-Hearns, because everyone ended up putting everything on him!

Pac was already one of the greatest. I think the same as before though, pretty much. Anywhere as high as 15 to as low as 30 is probably fair. I still have him, undecided somewhere between 20-25. These things need time, you know. For perspective. To see what fighters look like later on if they continue fighting.

That was incredible! What a brawl! Much respect to Margarito for being a warrior and surviving the fight. I don't know many fighters who would not have given up in his situation.

This fight was significantly detremental to cementing Pacquaio's greatness, and his spot in histor.y He defeated and dismantled a man 17 lb heavier than him, in a ruthless 12 round brawl, where he took the most damage he received in his latest 13 win streak.

The footwork, slickness, hand speed I saw was just unbelievable. The fact that his is a congressman, and is still fighting in a sport where he could get knocked out cold is remarkable. What a man he is. A rare breed. He is a legend, and we are blessed ot be witnessed such a great moment in his career.

Mayweather can't beat him. He doesn't have the fire or the speed to compete with a man like Pacquiao anymore. You'll never see the greatest fight of our generation, for completely obvious reasons. It has nothing to do with PEDS. That mother****er knows he can't run away from a guy like Pacquiao, in or out of the ring.

If they ever meet Pacquiao will paste him.

I...don't think detrimental is quite the word there, brother. :D But that was exciting for a one-sided decision for sure. Wicked.

I still favor Mayweather in that fight. He's on a very clearly different level defensively to absolutely every Pacquiao opponent and a greater fighter than anyone Pacquiao has faced. Nothing done against Antonio Margarito has any bearing on what would happen to Floyd Mayweather Junior to me. Really nothing. GREAT performance, but still. Not even apples and oranges there. More like apples and...uh...ducks. Wait-that didn't sound right. Forget I said that, someone's going to jump all over that choice of words. Never mind.
