to me the answer is obvious, but lets see what the pulse of the forum is.

IMO Pac is already a greater fighter than Floyd, win, lose, or draw.

Pacquiao is already greater,a victory would just seal the deal.

I think Pacman is already greater too. I'm sure many disagree, surprised there hasn't been more responses on here yet.

I also def think pac beating ODH is a greater accomplishment than PBF beating ODH because of his style

i believe he is greater because he boxed with anybody in his way to achieve his status as one of the best to ever lace up the gloves.as for floyd who picked his opponents past there primes to achieve his.manny has fought anyone in his way so even if he loses to de la hoya doen't mean floyd is better because he beat oscar it is just that manny was to small for oscar.

Pac is not in Mayweathers league. His resume is about equal (it will be slightly better by the time Pac retires unless floyd comes back and fights margo or Williams) and as far as skill goes there is no comparison, even the most hardcore Pac fans will agree. As far as ATG status Pac would have to do a lot more than beat DLH which won't happen anyways. Basically regardless of what happens PBF will go down in the history books a superior boxer with a higher ATG ranking.

Greater as a fighter...Believe it or not the standards for Pacquiao is so much higher then Floyd..

    Three points...

ONe many people consider MAnny avoiding JMM...hiding, running from JMM..and yet he fought this guy twice, TWICE!! and yet people says hes running..now if thats not high standard I dont know what is..
Pacs kryptonite he fought TWICE! as close as the outcome was, Floyd never had a JMM..

Second, Oscar..One year removed from giving Floyd a good fight..now considered shot...circus match for Pac...

    Floyd-DLH = Superfight
    PAc-DLH =Circus

Now youll say, its circus because its a mismatch...believe you me..If PAc squeaks by DLH..it will still be circus so lets be honest about that..

    Third

    Chico-PBF = Masterpiece by Floyd
    MAB-PAC 1 = MAbs a past prime p4p no3, forest fire...etc etc

    Skills, Floyd by miles..Resume..PAC..

    Greater fighter PAC

no 3 p4p MAB , highly avoided JMM, the top 10 p4p Morales...yes first three fights at 126 in succession..thats insane right there...

(Yeah 3k Battery KO in between)

He sure as hell isn't better or greater now, what the hell are you people thinking?

Let's wait and see how this fight goes down and the implications once the dust has settled to really put it into perspective.

It depends on how you define greatness..PBF won against DLH by outboxing him, hit and not getting hit...if Pacquiao will win, it would be the way he's used to fight, by a hellanuva offense! me, I prefer an action packed fighter..Im a big fan of Hagler and Duran...

Right now I think Mayweather is greater.

If Pac beats DLH, things will change.
