Seems like the natural step to take.

He should beat Rios and then look to fight winner of Marquez and Bradley.

If this happens, and he wins that fight (against JMM or Bradley) then surely the hype for a fight with Floyd is well and truly back on.

By this point, Floyd will have had his May fight (probably stopping Khan or beating Danny Garcia)

This all sounds good in theory, doesn't it?

It doesnt sound good, because it doesnt sound realistic. Pac will beat Rios. Marquez would never face Pacquiao again (he said it), as he'd have to do VADA. Bradley would face Pacquiao (and lose) so that would happen if Bradley beats Marquez. Floyd however would never face Pacquiao (he said so). He's avoided it for 3/4 years, and that's not going to change no matter how much the public want it and no matter how much money's involved.

It seems like the natural step but Marquez won't do the fight because of stringent drug testing that will be involved. He said he will never fight Pacquiao again and it's obvious what the reason is. If Marquez got off the PEDs, he would probably be knocked out by Pac at this point in his career.

If Bradley wins, I'd definitely like to see Pac vs Bradley 2. Pacquiao will probably retire after this as the Mayweather fight won't happen.

if timmy wins then i think we will see the pac/timmy rematch.

and also if rios wins some how he will fight the winner of JMM/timmy... or i can see JMM jst retiring

How did Mayweather avoid Pacquiao for 3/4 years?

I just think there is too much money to be made for Mayweather Pac to not happen (assuming Pac doesn't get KOed again and retire).

Why would Mayweather be afraid of him? I am a big Pac fan but Mayweather in all likelihood would crush him

he might not be new but he probably hasn't seen/heard "I'm a rich and scared coward", "Legacy don't pay bills", "Oh now he just decided to walk through Mosley, walk through Cotto", "My health comes 1st", or "People made Ali fight Frazier, who's gonna take care of me when I'm walk with a limp", 'If I'm gonna risk my health I say take it all back", etc.

Of course Mayweather ducked the hell out of Pac and no one can deny that, it is out there for anyone to observe for themselves.

Pac didn't want the fight either though, and had his own set of excuses to be fair.

    Double Rupaul.

Why not go after a Floyd fight right away for May?

How could he get Floyd to sign? Simple.

Show him the money. Let him have the lion's share of the purse. 40-45% will still get Pac his biggest pay day ever, in the highest grossing fight ever. And the reality is that Pac doesnt deserve 50/50 anymore.

That, and tell your promoter that you WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY OTHER FIGHT THAN THIS ONE.

    Make it happen Pac.

I've seen and heard everything. The contracts were drawn up and almost everything was agreed upon in early 2010. All Pacquiao had to do was agree to the drug testing and he declined. His reason; getting blood taken causes him to not be able to train for 3 days. This was an obvious lie. Pacquiao's side broke off negations behind this lie and promptly signed to fight Clottey. Fast forward to 2012 where Pacquiao's side said declined a proposed May 5th date and countered with an offer to fight in June knowing full well that Mayweather would be in jail. Now it's 2013, stricter drug testing happens all the time and Pacquiao himself is demanding his opponents go through the same testing he once refused to do himself. I guess getting blood taken doesn't weaken him anymore.

He should go after Canelo and KO him to regain the no 1 p4p instantly, then fight Floyd. If Floyd refuses then Pacquiao can retire and will have the last laugh in boxing.
