Pac's weigh jumping legacy is may, way more significant than this fight. That legacy is already secured, firmly entrenched in the boxing history book.

Will it be damaged? You know, to be honest, I see the shutout you are imagining not happening. Not against Pacquaio atleast. I used to think that Mayweather will easily beat Pac if ever they fight, and that is just before the negotiation came up. His technical skills and talent are topnotch, and his elite counterpunching style will be Pac's bane.

But during the negotiation, I see a dip in Mayweather's confidence and perception, which IMO is very telling.

When he offered that random drug test, which he has not initiated to all of his previous opponents, made me think that Mayweather, Jr, for all of his trash talk, immaculate record, uber talent, is finally recognizing that he will be facing someone who might be his equal, or probably better than him. The fear, or rather the realization that his zero is indeed in jeopardy against this man, has given him a massive second thoughts.

Probably with how Pacquaio destroyed, with relatively ease, a legit welter champ in Cotto. Or the silly confidence to mount a concert RIGHT AFTER a big fight with Cotto. Either way, Mayweather, Jr probably views Pacquaio as a ****ing monster who can beat him up, so he needs an assurance that this guy is a human after all. So, the drug test.

Even his father admitted, and expressed alarm, that Pacquaio has the power and the capability to hurt his son. Steriods or none, Pacquaio has put caution (fear?) in the hearts of the Mayweathers.

So, this shutout will not be happening. I guarantee you that. Mayweather already proved that he is affected by Pacquaio's power, to the point of making that ***** demand. Once they fight inside the ring, Mayweather won't be the same fluid, confident guy we saw against JMM whom he toyed, we will be seeing a cautious guy who struggled in the first few rounds against Judah, but this time, the guy he will be facing will make sure his struggle will be for 12 rounds.

It wouldn't damage his legacy at all if he took an L to mayweather.....Everything is gravy for manny for here on out......

What will happen if he takes a defeat will be the never ending debate on "who is ranked higher?".....Floyd fans will argue he won the head-to-head......Pacquiao fans will argue his body of work ranks him higher then floyd.....It will be debated for decades....

It's not ABC's it just shows what level Pac is on compared to Mayweather's past opposition.

Floyd hasn't done anything welterweight, and to be honest, his resume is fairly weak across the board.

Floyd's got you all in mass delusion that he's some godlike fighter who can't be beat. It reminds me of Roy Jones - super talented fighter, but faced weak opposition. I can't wait till Floyd gets "Tarvered" and you all wake up.

PAC ain't looking for "EASY" fights...he's actually looking for challenges...ones' taht he can very well loose. And unfortunately the smaller guys don't have the physical attributes or overwhelming skills to beat Manny. Only men who are bigger, stronger and more powerful will have a chance...hence....PAC fighting at WW. Where is is always going to be the smaller guy. Fighting at 140 is almost like taking a step backwards given that Shane and Floyd are at 147 and those two are twice as good as any one at 140 at the moment.

 Be easy brah.....you got your panties all twisted and you're becoming a bit emotional. I didn't mean to get you to this point. Look. .....I don't know if PAC is on or not on PEDs....I don't know if Floyd is for that matter. I don't know if all boxers are using or not. But I give Manny the benefit of the doubt as I do Floyd....they've never tested positive and they've alwasy been known for being a clean fighter.....so you can say I know it all and I won't fault you, but I don't bull**** homie...just keeping it 100. Manny's rep was only pulled into question b/c of Floyd and his daddy spreading rumors in an attempt to have an out from facing Manny whom they are VERY concerned about. It seems to me that "MONEY" is more concerned about staying undfeated than earning his largest payday. The risk of facing manny seems to out weigh the financial rewards. I hope you feel better now that you got this all off your chest cup cake.:yep

You are kidding right? If he wanted a challenge he should have fought Shane and not destroyed Cotto who arguably lost to Clottey. After that he should have called out Williams or Bradley. Hell he could have even taken on a stand up guy like Collazo. Instead he fought an in camp fighter in a notoriously lax commission right after strange behaviour during a PED mini-scandal.

You guys are living on an alternate planet... Pacanus.

So Cotto WASn'T a challenge? Seriously? Shane yea....a HUGE challenge but so was Cotto. Who was also the man to beat Shane (I actually had Shane winning that one) which was actually a very close fight.

Yea.....Cotto could have lost to Josh...but he didn't. And comparing how Manny beat both...it's clear as DAY that Manny beat Cotto decisively...he beat Josh desicively and Shane had close a close fight with Miguel!

So really........Manny is PROVING through his performance that he is above most of the NATURAL welters out there.....if not all of them. Bradley isn't a challenge...he's not big enough and if Manny went down to 140....HIS BEST WEIGHT, it would be a massacre.

Williams! G'damn bro........NO ONE WANTS WILLIAMS. that's includeing Shane and Floyd. And they are natrual WW's. Manny's not........It's ****ing unfair to have Manny face PW. I honestly feel PW is the only one who can beat Manny. Now.....ELITE WW's all have a chance to beat him but the cards are stacked against them....Manny is at a level now that very few are on.

The scandal that came about was due to Floyd's antics....and the fight was on the books before any scandal came to fruition from Mayweather. Floyd only sparked **** up about Manny after knowing he was due to fight him...HOW CONVIENENT.

And the fight was propased to be in DALLAS long before the accusations. Collazo??? Fo real homie. Manny would be looked at crossed eyed by everyone including his own fans if he took an easy test like that. Cotto is by far a better and harder fight for PAC....so is Josh.

You are living in your own world bro.....sky high!:smoke
