If Pac doesn't fight elite welters at 147lbs, can we call him a ducker?

I'm not sure what you mean? He is fighting the best?

Why should PAC move up to meet his CHALLENGERS weight he is the man to beat. They should come towards HIS natural weight now.

Oscar was the biggest name when he and PAC fought. So PAC moved up to 147. Now Pac is the biggest name and the man to beat.

how is it fair when the welters he would face would rehydrate to 157-160 on fight night. pac is in his best weight 140 and he is the man, why should he move.

Pacquiao doesnt need the welterweight division, the welterweight division needs Pacquiao.

It's like asking: assuming Pac loses in the coming elections and decides to continue fighting and beats Cotto, Mosley and Floyd is he a ducker if he doesn't fight Hopkins?

No, Pacquiao is not a Welterweight, if he stayed at 147 then yes but hes at 140 now so he should just worry about the fighters there.

No chance. He's naturally a lot smaller than most WWs and he wants to fight the best boxer on the planet.

I don't consider hiim a ducker because he is not claiming to be a welterweight. If he was defending a 147 pound championship or calling himself the best welter out there then you could demand that he fight the top welters. He is doing niether of those 2 things.

Take a guy like Floyd. I think you can legitamitly call him a ducker right now. He is demanding that a 135 pound fighter come up to welter to face him. If you are that dead set on being a welter then you should be fighting the top welters.
