If Pac doesn't fight elite welters at 147lbs, can we call him a ducker?

You should have added more choices on your voting.

NO - He will not duck Cotto. He will fight all the boxers that Mayweather ducked. :good

This thread was created so that we can know how many are demanding that Pac fight those elite welters at 147lbs.

Excuses are already flying that Pac (or Roach) wants them to be weight drained for easy picking. These are the same posters who want Pac to fight them at 147lbs.

This post will come in handy in the future in case Pac fights either Cotto or Mosley at a catchweight. If no one sees any problem at the catchweight now, then no one should complain in the future after the fight is done.

Actually, I agree with this - but only if Pac fights at 147 again and fights someone that's not in the top 5.

no, the man just knows his limitations. mosley would knock his ass out. as impresive as what pac-man has done, the fights pac-man took were all well calculated. before the pac-dlh fight, all you heard roach was saying was that dlh couldnt pull the trigger any more, then look what happened. he knew dlh was finished. and they knew hatton was a good fight but a man with no defense, a guy they knew pac could have sucess against, well mosely aint dlh or hatton

Nope, Mosley isn't. Mosley is an old man that unless he gets a lucky punch...Pac picks him apart! After he picks him apart you will come on here, and say something like *Pac beat on a senior citizen*.
No matter who Pac beats his haters will not give him credit.
I know the excuses right now:
Cotto: Margarito beat Cotto down, and that's how Pac beat him
Mayweather: He was rusty after a long layoff, OR (potentially) Marquez took a lot out of him
Mosley: To old and slower than he used to be

Then, you guys will add "In there primes Pac wouldn't stand a chance!"
Why don't you haters just appreciate a man who fights the best talent? For gods sake he hasn't even had any kind of tune ups, or fights that were SUPPOSE to be easy in years! :good

Not fighting bigger guys at an uncomfortable weight who would more than likely hand your ass to you ain't ducking. It's common sense.

However, If they're willing to fight at a catchweight, say 143-144, and Pac ain't willing some would have the right to call him a ducker.

I wouldn't be one of those guys however.

I'm sorry but its normal for EVERY fighter to come in a fight confident that they'll win. Seriously what your saying doesn't make sense.

So should we call SRR's carreer as also calculated because he also thought he could beat his opponents and found holes in their styles?
