If Pac fought PW at 147, would you call that a catchweight?

Well, it's just a shame no one wanted to fight him at Welter and he had to move up just for the sake of getting an opponent.

The only reason paul is saying this is to keep his name out their with the top dogs and for pride, deep down he knows 147 effects his performaces but realises he has alot to gain by facing these guys and the potential that ifhe wins big things are on the horizon.

Well how would he be making him move down if PW prefers to fight at the weight? You make no sense.

Williams only has himself to blame, though. He's the one talking up his 147 credentials, so you can't get too annoyed if someone calls him on it. I'd prefer to see it at 154, though, just so we can have a fight without the question marks.

    147 is a real weightclass....therefore not a "catchweight"....

They should make PW come down to 145 or no fight.

Are you ****ing stupid, if he preferred to fight at that weight he would be there now, he has even said he prefers light middle/middleweight.

He only says he can make the weight for payday and realises the rik reward ratio is good and has a chance to win in both fights if he does everything correctly.

Stupid thread. 147 is a weight class, not a catch weight. Paul Williams talks **** about wanting to fight Pacquiao at Welter. The m%ker is 6'3" with the reach of a heavyweight. Clown needs to fight men his own size, and the people in this thread need to stop making it sound like PAQUIAO would be benefiting from some unfair advantage if he fought PW at Welterweight.

Sergio and PW are fighting at a catch weight....does that mean Paul is draining Sergio? Paul can still make 147 and proablby beat all of the welter weights excpet for PAC. Even Floyd.

No.....Paul perfers 147 but no one at 147 perfers PW. so Paul has to fight in a weight class that is more his size....154 or 160, even 168.

Legit fight. PW keeps saying he can make it down. Pac wont take it though, the risk/reward isnt in his favor.
