and Margareto cheated... Cotto has the WORST group of handlers of all time. He gets beat to a pulp by a brickfisted cheat... and then about a year or so later, he gets beat to a pulp by an alleged steroid freak... Obviously the later is hypothetical because Pac has NOT been caught doping..

To end the "urine catches MOST PED's" argument, you are incorrect. The designer steroids that would be used in today's world are not detectable in urine. Ask Marion Jones, Mark McGwire, A Roid, etc. Blood samples were the only way that Jones got caught. McGwire doesn't want to talk about it.

PAC agreed to blood testing....just not the additonal requests for when the tests would be administered...so close to the fight. They agreed to a week out before the fight. Any PEDs or designer roids that would be benefiical to PAC that are still traceable in blood will be there a week out and a few days out.

From my understanding PBF wants random tests. This is logical IMO. An athlete can tailor their steroid use to be untraceable at test time (depending on what they use). Especially if they know when the test is going to be. The benefits of roids does not wear off as soon as the athlete stops taking them. Blood testing close to the fight (3 days right?) would not affect an athletes performance. They are losing minimal blood for testing purposes.

Back to my original statement: Cotto should hire a professional team. I hope he has learned a valuable lesson about hiring friends and yes men. It is my humble opinion that it should have been him, not pac in this mega fight.

PAC did agree to radom testing...which was urine based...all the way up to fight night. After PAc agreed Floyd asked for Olympic style testing.....PAC agreed to that...then they wanted multiple blood tests...before the promo tour for the fight in Jan and then after the fight in March..PAC agreed....then they asked for tests a week before the fight and that was agreed to. Then they said they wanted radom blood testing and that could be up to the day of the fighter or two days prior and that was the last straw.

Unfortunately for Cotto PAC is just a better fighter.....so is Floyd. He wouln't beat PAC, which he didn't and he wouldn't beat Floyd either...he'd probably have done a lot better with Floyd than he did with PAC but that is a non issue. Cotto had a mega fight with PAC...he deserved that and he took his lumps.

Your confusing HGH with Roids. Two different thing. Jones never tested positive including the blood test. She admited to using enhancement drug, never mention specific that it was roid, to escape jail time due to her name being tied to Balco.

If they aren't being tested during of season training it will not be detected with a urine test. Go to the WADA site. It clearly states that steroid can easily be detected by urine as well as EPO. The only thing that needs blood work is HGH. But taking HGH without roid is pointless. So the crazzy amount of random urine test for this fight should be enough to catch any steroid or EPO use.
