If Pac is fighting Floyd's "leftovers", I guess Floyd has fought nothing but....

Good point. ***** logic for the win, but nothing beats floyd's 3 decades of dominance and bullet proof A-side meth.

Floyd and Pacman need to fight, they are the best P4P fighters in the world right now. Its really that simple.

If it was only that simple!

Floyd had to go complicate things with this whole testing debacle.

Get real mate, Pac buckled De La Hoya a lot more than Floyd did. De La Hoya fought only once in 18 months before fighting Mayweather and many people dispute that win. De La Hoya was also coming down in weight. I'd say Mayweather fought better versions of Hatton and De La Hoya but not by as much as Mayweather fans make out and the difference is Pacquiao destroyed both and at best you argue that Pacquiao lost 1 round against both put together, you can argue that Mayweather lost 11 rounds against both put together. The Hatton-Mayweather fight was a lot closer than people make out now and Floyd nearly got KD'd in round 1.
Mosely had not fought in over a year before he fought Mayweather and was also coming down in weight if your saying Hatton was. It was still a great performance but you have to look at it realisticaly and say Mosely was well away from his prime. As for Marquez I actually feel that he beat Pac the second time but I also think Pac was weight drained for that fight. Marquez was well above his natural weight against Mayweather and I think he'd probably get dominated by Pac at 147.

I also had had JMM winning the 2nd Pac fight up until he got KD. All JMM had to do was stay on his feet. The knockdown is what cost him the fight.

Totally different time-frames and scenarios. Weak analogy.

How is it a weak analogy? Floyd claims that Pac is fighting his leftovers because he's already beaten them prior to Pac facing them. Therefore anyone who has been beaten before is always going to be someone else's leftovers. Not saying I agree with that but according to Floyd, if you've lost, you're considered a leftover from someone else.

Someone help me out here and remind me of the results of these fights:

    Mayweather vs Cotto
    Mayweather vs Clottey
    Mayweather vs Margarito

Because like I said, the time-frames and scenarios are different.

For example, Mosley losing to Cotto in a close fight for which an argument can be made that he won, several years before fighting Mayweather and having won in devastating fashion over a prime Margarito right before fighting Mayweather, is not the same scenario as Cotto getting beat the f--- up by Margarito, looking mediocre against Chris Jennings, and going life and death with Clottey RIGHT BEFORE getting in the ring with Pacquiao.

More to the analogy, its not the same scenario either as Hatton getting KO'ed by Floyd, looking shaky the whole fight against Juan Lazcano and looking mediocre against Malignaggi RIGHT BEFORE getting in the ring with Manny; Or Shane being dominated by Floyd, and looking 'old' as people say against Mora RIGHT BEFORE getting in the ring with Pacquiao.

I don't know but I thought Paulie was one of Hatton's better performances. He was pretty dominating.
