    They did not show them.

But awhile back when we were discussing Hattons for the Floyd fight someone mentioned that on the UK broadcast that Floyd was 149 and Hatton was 154.

But I have no proof there.

But Mayweather looked exactly the same. He didn't look any bigger than before.

And he stated in a recent interview he was down to 146 for the Marquez fight. This being month+ away from their target date.

i see. for the oscar fight, i understand that he weigh 150 so he must have gained at least 2 to 3 pounds there at fight night.

I don't think so. I think he weighed in at his max already. Unlike Pac who cut down and probably had a weight flux the day before.

Like I said. He said he was already weighing 146 during an interview.

And someone said they saw him on a scale said he weighed 145.

floyd looked much bigger in the oscar fight so going up to 150 would not be a surprise. what is floyd's walk around weight?

THey are fighting at 145 because that's what Cotto propsed. Why did Cotto Propose 145? Easy, b/c he wants to ensure the fight comes off and they know Roach's stance on what and where PAC's division is. That is at 140 not 147. Cotto as a professional, its his job to ensure he comes in to his fights at 100%...no matter what weight. IF Cotto is struggling to make 147, he'll struggle to make 146, 145, 144 ect...ect... ect.. You are leading yourself down a path for the sake of excusing Cotto before he even needs one..not that an excuse would be valid if he looses. It will just be anther "excuse" from a fan. Cotto doesn't make excuses then why should anyone do so on his behalf.

Look.....no one PAC beats seems to be 100%. So why should Cotto be any different. They did the same thing with Floyd, DLH, Shane, Jones and ALI in their days. THe greats get this kind of criitsim. SO I guess it comes with being #1. They'll never please everyone.

so rehydrating to at least 153 in the oscar fight is not impossible.

You're right....it is a load of BS.....but its BS that you are spewing. That's not why or what took place or will take place. You just have your mind wrapped around some conspiracy theory that you've decided to run with. It's not PAC's job to make his competition come in at 100%. As a pro that's their Job and in their interest to come in at 100. Like it's the job of PAC to prepare accordingly for his next fight. It is what it is homie.

Just sticking my nose in again before I log off...

Giving away serious weight against Baldomir is completely different to giving away serious weight against a p4p-ranked proven quality fighter like Cotto or Mosley.

Baldomir was **** and even his own ma knew it. Pacquiao could give away 25lbs against him, like Jones did v Ruiz, and still win.

When Mayweather fights a welterweight of the standard of Cotto or Mosley, then the "Floyd does it so Pac should too" argument might hold water, but right now it does not.

    Theory?

Im sorry but when Roach basically admits they won't fight Mosley or Cotto unless they are drained is enough proof to me that they feel making Cotto come down extra weight that he will not be at 100%.
