Pacquaio and Roach have definately got what it takes to beat Cotto. Freddie gets it, and Manny will do what he says. They just need to be aware of just how taxing it's actually going to be in there. Cotto is a collossus at his size.

How would Marquez not be at 100%? He's not forced to put on extra weight.

Unlike Cotto who is forced to lose extra weight.

True but Pac went after Cotto. Cotto just accepted saying he wants him if he wants me.

I mean, Roach has clearly stated that the only way they will fight Mosley and Cotto is by making them drained.

    Cotto looks unhealthy at 146.

He's already pushing his body limits making him push more could hurt him.

    Manny wouldn't gain any weight.

He weighed 149 for DLH. He weighed 148 for Hatton.

I never ever stated JMM was at the peak of his career.

The first MAB fight is fine. He fought JMM after. But Erik was on the downside of his career by the time Pacquaio got to him. And Erik was in a war with Pac, won. Got his ass kicked by Raheem then lost twice to Pac. He wasn't the same fighter. But Pac did win. A good win, not great.

We all know what happened with the Margarito fight. Arum wanted options on Floyd and only promised less money for bigger threats.

Clearly he did the one time. He's moved up and JMM has had to chase him. Pac won't go down to 135 for JMM for a 3rd match.

    Level playing field?

How about each fighter is 100% come fight time? That's equal to me no?

So tell me, what would be different at 147 that you gain at 145 besides Cotto being drained?

Pac and Cotto are going to weigh the same. The only difference being Cotto lost more weight than normal to weigh in. Roach knows this and wants Cotto to strain at making weight, giving a big advantage to Pac.

Cotto lacks defense, add that in with feeling drained. Less movement. It equals a total diaster for Cotto and a great ****ing time for Pac.

I dont think cotto will be drained at 145lbs..Heck cotto is the one who said he will fight at 145lbs..Team pac wants it at 143lbs...

And oh, they wont weigh the same..pac will come in 142lbs, cotto 145lbs..
fight night pac around 148lbs, cotto 155lbs...

I was saying they are going to weigh the same on fight night no matter which weight they weigh in at.

So fighting at 145 or 147 means nothing except at 145, Cotto strains himself more than normal to make weight.

Is this true? Are they gonna limit the weight during fight night?

    I doubt it.

Cotto cuts normal 11/12lbs. He's under 160 every time.

Pac was cutting 15lbs before so to limit Cotto under 10 would be laughable.

if cotto is already straining himself to make 147, then he should already move up to 154 and fight as a jr. middle. he already comes in @160+ for fights anyway.

and even if the fighting weight of cotto is limited to 154-155 during the fight, pac will still come in at 148-149max so he will be giving away 6-7 lbs. in weight/size to cotto.

cotto weighs 160 lbs and he's already draining himself to make 145 lbs? yeah right, and hatton sometimes weighs at 180 lbs and he's not draining himself to make 140 lbs, nice logic..

    What?

Cotto weighs 158 normally on FIGHT NIGHT.

Hatton balloons up to 180. Complete difference you dumbass.

Cotto can make 147 but he's already cutting a lot of weight. Cutting more can badly affect him come fight time.

So what? Size difference and weights are part of boxing.

Pac was outweighing his opponents come fight night normally by 8-10lbs.

i mean hatton not draining himself to 140 lbs were sometimes he weighs 180 lbs, while cotto is already draining himself at 145 lbs where he only weighs 160 lbs 20 lbs less than hatton's?.

    where's the logic there dumbass?.

Cotto is at peak condition when weighing 160.

Hatton is a fat **** at 180 and when he's at his peak condition his normally weighs 152-154 for a fight at 140.

He weighed 160 against Collazo and didn't add the weight back on when he fought Mayweather.
