If Pac is such a huge draw then why wasn't there a Pac/Clottey 24/7 show?

No one wants to hear the story about a Nomadic Ghanaian rebel or listen to a two faced steroid disgrace talking about his belief in god while committing adultery and breaking nearly all of the 7 commandments. Pac's time in the American media outlets is pretty much done. He's boxing's version of Roger Clemens. No hardcore evidence at this point but anyone with eyes can see that all signs lead to foul play.

    cause Clottey isn't

there's never been a 24/7 without 2 big name fighters.

Clottey is the definition of high risk / low reward.

cuz he dont need 24/7 to sell

  4. Actually, its because HBO is only carrying the live PPV. Top Rank is handling ALL of the production themselves. In other words, it will be on HBO PPV, but you won't see any of HBO's commentary team (Lampley, Merchant, etc...). Top Rank is solely responsible for Promotion and Production. :deal

Because Pac's already been in 3 24/7s and nobody is interested in Clottey, who's a pretty boring guy. Wouldn't make good TV, and wouldn't help the PPV sales much either.

Actually this post failed. It is an HBO PPV, production and all. Lampley, Steward, and Kellerman will be announcing and the replay will be the following week.

You may be thinking of Hopkins-Jones, that is being distributed by HBO but will not have HBO announcers/production.

Is the original poster really trying to argue that Pacquiao isn't a draw?
