I will no longer speak badly of Floyd. I made myself a promise to no longer do so. I will respect him as an athlete. So I will let others counter this statement, in particulor the above sentence which I underlined. Either way, my only point is that it is a fair fight, imo a 50/50 fight. Floyd/Pac makes more sense from a competitive standpoint than Floyd/ Marquez. Marquez did not have the speed (Pac does), nor the reach (Pac don't have the reach but he can close the distance in lightning speed as only the great Leonard and a younger Jones Jr. could do), nor the power to do so.
Well if that happens it's clear he's on roids and Cotto was shot, past his prime and had distractions. So PAC got lucky again.
If, a very big if in my book. Cotto will put on PAC something he's never had. A ass whoopin'. Cotto is being played down in diagnosis of this fight and I'm surprised that logic has left many believing that Pac can and will KO Cotto. I see it the other way.
it is high, but it would significantly go up if he beats another style, the 'slick' type (timothy bradley can be considered on that regard, if the floyd fight does not materialize, or he loses that fight)... and then a young, in his prime, fighter too.
It is possible! Cotto is a very good fighter who will enjoy a signifigant size advantage. Should he win.....it's his best win without question. it doesn't matter that PAC is the smaller man bc PAC is a special kind of fighter and if Cotto wins...he's the better man and should get all the respect that he is deserving of.
