You dont have to admit Pacquiao was over rated, he is not, you just have to admit your under rating Hatton cus that is the truth.

If pacman loses to Hatton, why does that make him overrated?? Perhaps he wasn't meant to fight at 140? ( oscar fight doesnt count really ) ... or maybe Hatton is just the superior fghter?

Even if pacman loses, i wouldnt say that's he's overrated.

I'd say underrate Hatton. I honestly think he doesn't have much of a chance.

Even if Pac looks awful I'll give the guy all the credit in the world.

The OP has the right idea but I'm starting to see plenty of seeds being planted for possible excuses tomorrow from a lot of you.

Manny is the slight favorite tomorrow so if he loses than it means he was overrated by many, specially those of you have are predicting an easy fight for him.

Look for the NO EXCUSES thread!

Sign me up with Philla here.

Hatton is much better than I give him credit for being if he pulls this off tomorrow.

With all Pacman has accomplished, if Hatton wins I do not think he was overrated. Pacman has accomplished so much at this point that anything which happens now is just style matchup. He is a great fighter. He fought wars.

i wouldn't agree to admiting to overrating pac because of one loss, particularly when i havent experienced the circumstances of that loss. IMO people are making pac favourite because of his destrcution of a shadow odlh! I think beating Hatton is a much taller order because unlike ODLH hatton is not draining himself to make weight. Pac is therfore fighting a much bigger fighter at his own weight. If Pac losses i dont believe he was overrated, the reason for defeat could well be overmatched in weight.
Would you admit to overrating Taylor or Kessler if he were beaten by Klit?

Oh my goodness!!!:rofl:rofl:lol: I was wondering the same thing. Not trying to start any beef, but usually people who describe themselves in 3rd person are arrogant.:bart Anyway back to the topic. Over-rated NO. Super expectancy YES(of his fans anyway). He has the right style to beat Hatton who has problems with southpaws. It should be interesting.

If Pac loses I don't think it's a case of being overrated, just Hatton being underrated.

if pac losses to hatton, it would make his dela hoya win not a significant win at all if we take all things into consideration. right now, he is top 31-35 ATG imo, a win would elevate him to 23-27 and a lost would bump him outside the top 50

    thats pretty naaive.

weight counts for a lot in boxing but it's easy for people to dismiss it if they've never tried the jump themselves.

seriously - how can you pass judgement on a guy like pacman - regardless of what happens - just because he didn't do what you wanted him to once he clocked into mainstream boxing.

    damn!
