I agree with that too. I'm sick of this catchweight bull****. The weight divisions are there for a reason. They should fight at 140 or 147 or don't fight at all. Same goes for Floyd and Marquez.

 

143 to 144 . . . where Pac has an even chance.

Any weight heavier than that . . . I see Mosley beating Pac easily.

Yes 144 is best. I don't agree that the fight should happen at 147. Do you realise how heavy Mosely would come into the fight? He would balloon and re-hydrate. Pac can ONLY just reach 147.

144 is fair. Half way between. They meet each other in the middle.

Pac is NUMBER 1 Pound for Pound. Mosely needs Pac not the other way round Mosely should be the one meeting Pac at HIS weight. That's what should happen but they can't do that otherwise all the haters (and there are a hell of a lot of people out there who try and discredit Pacs victories) would say Mosely was weight drained.

So they meet in the middle.

Why not...it's only 3 pounds?

Putting on weight makes you sluggish and slow. Taking it off actually gives you more energy and makes you faster, obviously it would effect your power slightly as you'd lose the weight. But as far as energy levels go it would actually increase them. I'm taking about 3 pounds here not when you are like Christian Bale in the Machinist.

 

At the end of the day if the fight was at 147. Pac would come in on fight night at or around 147 and Mosely would come in at 160.

If they fight at a catchweight 144. Pac can come in on fight night at around 148 and Mosely won't be able to balloon as much and with come in at around 155.

Still a big size advantage for Mosely.

 

Please remember that Mosely needs Pac. Mosely is the one who needs to accommodate the number 1 pound for pound. It's called Respect and it's something that's Manny has earnt the hard way.
