He might think he has Mayweather in a bad spot. Like, maybe Alvarez thinks Mayweather needs him so Alvarez can drive the price up.

If its true that Manny is going to fight Cotto then Floyd is in a bad spot, he would need to pull a big move and pull Martinez from his fight if Canelo starts acting up, if not he just got to take it I guess.

There is no one available for him to fight

I think Floyd would have a good shot to beat the Martinez that fought Barker.

Im not in favor of an Alverez fight simply because hes a star in Mexico. Hes just a young fighter with decent skills and has yet to prove himself. His only motivation is money and his only hope is his size. To be truthful I dont care for the Pac fight because I think Pac is too small to deal with a bigger fighter with the skill level of Mayweather. Everybody wants to see it but it will be just another win for Mayweather. Who I really think he should fight is Mike Jones. Hes in his weight class and I think that his lenght will present a problem for Mayweather. It would be a really good fight.

If boxing was in a healthy state, that's how it would go and both fights would be much better then the crap they are trying to sell....boxing would be much better if they just made logical match ups
