May be. Pacquiao has a lot of fans. Not so Gamboa. But we have to remember economy is not very good. By the way, I go with Pacquiao by KO in three rounds or less.
Gamboa has been on HBO twice and ESPN twice. With the proper marketing and a countdown show, 300 thou certainly is attainable.
If it did make 300K from PPV buys, then it would be solely because of Pacquiao.. Gamboa has been on ESPN and HBO, but I doubt he's really known to the casual boxing fan..
I compeletly agree. The pac-dlh fight is gonna make crazy money despite the protests of hardcore fans (I myself think it's an obvious smart business first move). I think if HBO and Top Rank build this fight to high hell, which they would, then this fight should do 300k pretty easily.
Yea I think Pac has enough fans to hit 300k if this fight was to happen right now. Gamboa is a very good prospect with good flashy skill so peoples will want to know what will happen if they fight. I think that alone will do 300K.
if you want gamboa to have an L early in his career make him fight PAC. I'm a gamboa fan too and i believe gamboa will be the next pac. gamboa vs pac 5 yrs from now, I'll go for gamboa!!! but if they fight now or next year. pac by ko! cheers
you can't turn a glass chin into stone in five years. pac would still probably have power in five years and would fight a more intelligent albiet slower fight in ive year's time
i wouldn't gamboa wouldn't be conscious for round 2... honestly it might only last 1 minute tops.....who would waste money on that?
