It will do a huge amount. The 'DLH was shot' excuse will only cut a small amount of mustard. Because: a) there is noy way DLH is shot. He's a little bit over the hill. b) we all know that DLH is faded going in. This is why the fight is considered contestable at all. Beating a faded DLH is a huge achievement for PAC. Too bad he is going to get knocked out in 6.
yeah, itd look good, but i can guarantee you he would be overrated like crazy if he were to win. id give the man fool credit if he won though.
I think it will add to his legacy but it will not elevate him to being the best p4p of all time. It would be a great win but he needs more after that. Just like I believe if Floyd Mayweather wants to be considered the all time greatest p4p fighter he has about 4 or 5 more big fights to win. Mainly win's over the likes of Margarito, Cotto, Williams, and maybe a Mosley or a Berto. Until he ups his record to around that 44 or 45 - 0 mark with some mega fights thrown in he will simply be one of the best, not the best. Same with Pacman, he has more to do but at least he wont duck people like Mayweather.
3 fights. If Pac keeps winning, these will are the 3 inevitable fights. -DLH-Pac -Floyd-Pac -JMM-Pac If Pac wins impressively in all 3, he will undoubtedly be top 5 ATG in my book. Is it likely? No. But it CERTAINLY is not an impossible feat.
Sounds fair enough... For the sake of arguement pac wins all those fighs....but with the likes of nallage and some other haters he will NEVER RUN OUT OF NEGATIVE THINGS TO SAY about PAC pbf vs PAC - PBF can out of retirement so he isn't really the old pbf we know jmm - he's shot and old. no credit.. Believe me he will only give credit to pay if he beats haye :rofl :nut atsch
It would be a solid win despite Golden Boy being far from his prime days. I'd give Manny more credit if he defeats JMM decisively in a rematch or say someone like Hatton.
It will look really good, Pac's resume would be huge, and he will be respected by all boxing fan, It would be impossible to hate him or not give him credit.
I don't give Pacquiao much of a chance against dela Hoya at all. The size difference is just huge. Shot, faded, past it, whatever **** is thrown around if it happens it would be a big surprise. Certainly a Pacquiao win would be the biggest thing in boxing in a long time. Probably even bigger than when Iron Mike became the youngest heavyweight champ ever. Well, probably.
