"IF" PacMan scored a KO over PBF...

    Okay, so I know this fight will probably never happen and I'm aware that Manny would be about a 78,000 to 1 underdog here but let's just say the fight gets signed and Pacquiao comes out firing and catches Money Mayweather flush and puts him down and out (we can dream), WHAT would that do for Manny and more importantly for BOXING??? While Pacquiao is already GOD in the Philippines, he could propel himself into the sports elite here in the U.S. as well. His style and his likeability could put him aside guys like LeBron James, Sidney Crosby, Tiger Woods, etc; Real uncharted territory for any boxer since maybe Sugar Ray Leonard. Roy Jones and Oscar DLH flirted with mainstream sports status a bit but not at the same level. What do you guys think?

    "If" we resurrected Sugar Ray Robinson, Henry Armstrong, and Jack Johnson from the grave and Mayweather knocks them all out with 1 punch each, Mayweather would be the GOAT.

    Pac would never be able to knock out Floyd. He is too small and too crude technically.

    If he did, his ATG status would be assured.

    If he Kos PBF, Pac will be top 5 ATGs, Will make TV & Print ads for Mcdonald, Disneyland, Nike, Cleto Reyes, Visa, At & T, Coke. He'll be as popular as Duran during the SRL era.

    Haters will still not appreciate Pac. Will say PBF was out of Prime & Not Hungry anymore.

    He'll be a top 3 ATG but those ads will be made in other places not the US. Boxing just isn't popular enough to warrant the ads you are talking about (though it may be again by then).

    Pacquiao has very few haters. His fans have enemies, but not Pacquiao himself.

    let's not get too far ahead of ourselves..knocking down Floyd is an accomplishment in itself? Knocking him out? highly improbable.

    Whats the point in this?

    If I beat Mayweather, Cotto, Williams, Cintron, Margarito and then jumped into my time machine and beat Duran and SRL would I be an ATG and pin up boy? It's just as likely

    By the time this fight could be made in about 2 years time, Pac would have finished a lot of units in college & also will improve more with his english. Before this fight could be made, Pac vs Hatton, Katsidis & J Diaz has to happen first. Those are all English speaking guys, I'm sure HBO will Produce some 24/7 series for those fights. Pac will have a lot of Practice before the Pac-PBF 24/7.
